[QUOTE="Milkncooke"]It isn't Nintento's fault that companies make games for their system that you don't like. And its not their fault that you don't like those games. I don't know about you, but when I buy games, I usually know what to look for and what to avoid based on my personal tastes.spartan211

Oh no no no I mean I know the genres im looking for, but if im stopping in to say....Gamestop..I am going to have a hard time finding a new title that doesnt involve the word " My" or " Sims".

Really? I've never had that problem, but I don't really care either because somebody is bound to like those games, even if it is a little five year old girl.

Free?,i really don't consider the pedometer to be "free",i consider it a new feature in pokemon gamingand you don't know for sure if it will be faster/easier to level up pokemon in the game than in the pedometer. As far as i'm shaking a pedometer,i don't really give a damn on what people says cause it will be mine and i could do whatever the hell i want to do with it.

But it is free..... Anyway, I want to know why the last thing you want to do is carry a pokemon pedometer with you. I don't get whats so bad about it.

It is not free. It added $20 to the price of a normal DS game.

That is not free.

And I think Nintendo will stop cheaters by making the Pokewaker not process extreme shaking like most people would do. Because nobody can walk/run that rapidly. ;P

It is completely free! I have no idea where you got that 20$ from, but I assure you it is incorrect. Heart Gold and Soul Silver will retail for the same price as any other new DS game.

[QUOTE="Milkncooke"][QUOTE="TriniPlayer"] Cheating??,are you serious??nobody don't give a damn or not if you decide to shake it and its definitely not doing anyone any harm.TriniPlayer
No I wasn't serious, it was sarcasm. I couldn't care less if someone was dumb enough to shake a pedometer to level up their pokemon.

And what's so dumb about shaking a pedometer?,the last thing i would want to do is carry a pokeball-like pedometer around with me

Its dumb because it would be faster/easier to level a pokemon up in game. No ones forcing you to take it with you. Its meant to stay in your pocket and track how many steps you've taken as well as level up your pokemon. And its free! Stop complaining about free things, it doesn't make any sense.

A free pack-in to a game I've wanted for a long time that features real-time advancements to any pokemon you place into it.

How is this, in any way, a bad thing? Its not absolutely groundbreaking, but geez, its a free giveaway. If you are THAT much against it then don't buy the game.

Because you can cheat by just shaking it! It totally defeats the purpose of even having it.

It sounds like your minds made up already. If you want to open it up, open it up. You'll risk losing your warranty, but you don't care about that, and possibly breaking your Wii though. Personally, I'd just leave it alone and turn up the volume on my TV so I don't have to hear the buzzing.

There's a chance they will, because they want money, but there's a chance they won't because they're lazy.

And people who say "Well, they shouldn't, I don't want to buy a DSi" aren't really making much sense.

It's not making you buy a DSi; it would be forcing you to consider.

So you'd just be missing out is all.

"Well, they shouldn't, I don't want to buy a DSi" argument makes perfect sense. Those without DSi's shouldn't be punished for not having one, and making DSi specific features is doing just that. I shouldn't be forced to buy a DSi with my own money so that I can do everything in a game I purchased with my own money. Hopefully Nintendo never does this, but they already said they would, so hopefully they keep these DSi only features out of Pokemon at least.

Seriously? Those without a DSi aren't being punished. They still have Pokemon games in which they can get the full benefits on a phat or lite. Nintendo made a new product (the DSi), and they are damn well entitled to make products for it. No one is forcing you to buy the Pokemon game.

Touche. You're right, I can get the pokemon game, and there are pokemon games out currently that don't have DSi specific features, but that doesn't change anything. Consider the dsi features as the bonus material on a dvd movie. Now if I buy that movie I don't want to go home only to see that I can't access those features because I have the wrong DVD player. Sure, I can still watch the movie, but I didn't get my moneys worth because I can't access everything. This is my beef with DSi only features. If Nintendo releases two different versions of the game, one for DS phat/lite and one for DSi, the second being more expensive, then I would be content at the very least.
