For those of you who got the bum limited edition versions of Halo 3 and had to send it back to Msoft, have any of you gotten them returned yet? Im just curious as to the time in which it takes for them to replace the disc. Thanks in advance.

Now im biased to team fortress on pc from way back when. But the 360 version intrigues because a bunch of my buddies have it on that platform...so...my question is...what do you guys think of hte controls on 360? Does it handle well while compared to the pc version? Any opinions or thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

I Just picked up a new slim psp, and im trying to get her online. My house network uses a WEP, so needless to say i got that all sorted out on the psp with the correct keyword entered and all...but for some reason it cant "obtain IP address"...i get to this point and i get an error every single time. I even tried entering it in manually and no luck...Any network gurus out there have any suggestions for what would be causing everything to work fine, up until obtaining the IP address?? thanks in advance.

You say there won't be enough profits to be made out of an " Online-Goldeneye".
But if they were to sell the game for a higher price then i don't see where would be the problem ; they will be making money and it will only add additionnal sales to the game.

Higher price? How much higher do you mean? N64 games on the VC start at 1,000 points which is $10. There is only so high they can sell n64 games on VC before the public and media crash down on them for over charging. Media sites and forums have already been upset with some of the prices charged for these downloadable games. Keep in mind you are dealing with selling technology that is 10yrs old. Yes, the game is absolutely fantastic, so would it be worth the extra money? Absolutely, id be one of the first to throw money down for it, but nintendo shouldnt raise the price that much further, unless they can expect some sort of public out cry.

Also, im not against putting multiplayer in this game, dont misunderstand me, id LOVE to see this happen, and i HOPE like hell they do put it in. Im just saying that its going to be an uphill battle with many tumbling rocks coming down at nintendo.

Im sure everyone has heard of this, but if you really want some online goldeneye, check this link: http://goldeneyesource.com/ Its an online mod of goldeneye, with plenty of tweaks and changes mind you, for the half life 2 source engine. This mod is completely free, due to Activision owning the James Bond license, theyre allowed to realase this only if they accept no profit. So if you ask well why doenst nintendo just release Goldeneye Online free of charge? mmm well...thats a question for Reggie and his accountant to think over.

Wow, thanks for the constructive comment. Whats to say this wont happen? Stranger things have happened in the past. In 1995, if somebody had said that Sonic and Mario would be appearing in the same game, let alone the same console, they would have laughed out the building.

Rather than dismiss it, why dont you explain why you dont think it will happen. Nintendo know that Goldeeye is one of the most revered shooters of all time. why would they not want to at least try and do this?

Youre right, i should explain my obnoxious response. But not only are you right, but the post below yours, which i didnt include here, is also right. MONEY.

First off, nintendo must get the rights to realease Goldeneye. Goldeneye is a product of Rare, whhom of which now exclusivly works for Microsoft. Nintendo and Microsoft = Competitors. So to cross this copyright gap, and im not a business man, im going to assume some HUGE monitary suppliment must be made. Youre right about praising Goldeneye, its my numero 2 fav game of all time, everyone knows how good it is, including big ol Bill Gates. So im assuming he wont let the rights go for Goldeneye at any sort of cheap price.

Now the online feature you speak of. And dont get me wrong, id kill someone for Goldeneye online, it would be absolutely ridiculously fun as im sure id have many sleepless nights ahead of me IF it was released such as that. However, as i said before the post below your previous post, mentioned development costs for multiplayer. This person is totally correct. The cost to add multiplayer functionalilty would NOT equal or surpass the amount of money brought in from Goldeneye downloads on VC + the FREE multiplayer aspect, IF it were included in the game.

I work in the video game industry and i can assure you, no matter how good an idea is...no matter how much someone may punch and kick and squeel and whine...if there isnt money to back the idea, and if there isnt a profit to be made, unfortunately you can assume that that idea will be left behind.

I do agree with you though, online play for this game would be dope. Id LOVE to see it happen, but at this point, its potential for multiplayer to be implimented...is not lookin so good.
