chaos theory was the best, double agent was so so, with obvious improvements to the first 3 id lacked the certain atmosphere the otherones had. conviction is a different game though. cant really compare it.
i also hate the trails but they are still very informative in battle. i hope you are able to turn them off though! that would be a HUGE plus for me. i love skirmishers and archers and they just FELT much better in rtw than in any of the followups. it didnt have that ugly trails.
for some reason i dont like the trail the arrows leave when they are not on fire. i realise that they are there to make them more visable and to see incoming fire but it makes them look and feel so much more unrealistic..
because it misportrays the possibillities of the game mechanics. its like showing people a bad trailer of a game and it leaves a bad impression on a game that most of the people that played it loved! we gamers hate that ;)now my rant: he plays it like GoW or any other cover shooter for that matter. after getting used to the controlls u can pull off some insane moves and its mich more fluent. also the repeating scenes are kinda great to try out new techniques to take out the enemies. just have to get a bit creative, in the most positive way that is..
btw i agree with the upgrades and ammo part, who gives a shit
