ok, finally found the story. im not sure its the same one because the billionaire, while he wants to invest in the ps3 just became a share holder of like 6%, which doesnt mean at all that any of those dollars will flow into gaming, hell they could produce the newest line of bluray players for that matter.
while the investor himself acknoledges the importence of the console market and wants his money to flow in that direction, it reallistically doesnt mean that it will.
gamers just felt betrayed in a way, it feels like were little childrien that dont want to share their product with an other audience /:
e3 will hopefully turn this arround. hell 3 days ago i was still raging and now that i had enough time to really think (you know with my brain and such) im pretty much undecidet about which console im gonna buy.
true, this time the difference is smaller than ps3/x360.. but it takes away development time, and if the same amount of money goes in to development in exclusives as in multiplatform titles then there has to be a significant difference.
the best franchises (for me) of this generation were exclusives, but maybe it can be done differently!
