I said that they are almost as important, not equal in importance. You can't just throw the ahadith away just because you find them morally reprehensible. Is it not true that you should accept what Allah says, regardless of your preferences? Accept what Allah says, yes. Without a doubt, but the Hadiths are not from Allah. So I can throw them away as much as I want. If I told you that I had bought a red new car for 10,000 dollars and you told it to everyone you knew and they in turn told it to everyone they knew, for 100 years without anyone writing it down. Do you think the words would be the same?
How are you supposed to pray without knowing the ahadith regarding the procedures of salah?
