Well, you got your answer, so... /Thread, right?

Sometimes in the 360 forums, I see guys that own PS3 pretending to be thinking about buying a 360, and ask for comparisons.;)

I remember you in the PS3 forums talking about 360 all the time, glad you finally left the PS3 forums and came to SW, since "comparing the two machines while owning a 360" is more your forte.

You were about to buy a "PS3"...did you?8)

Don't worry, I've seen that old tactic used for years, that's why SW is around.

SolidTy

its about asking other people for opinions...if you think that your all smart...maybe you should start knowing somthing about the person before you make accusations...oh and when i get my ps3 ill show you my psn id and prove that i did mean to get a ps3...and stop accusing people...this thread is to discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of both systems...

anyway continuing on...i noticed that the ps3 uses quinix...why do they use that...is there an advantage of quinix over AA?

Hey, it's possible you are not like the 99.999% of the guys that I've seen on those boards over the years, so I'll grant that.

That's why I asked if you got a PS3, instead of assuming you didn't get a PS3 (It turned out you didn't get a PS3 though, like I thought.).

My bigger issue was that you seem to have gotten your answers, and you didn't comment or acknowledge them.

---------------

I do like that your question was answered, and you moved on to Quinix/AA, that's all I wanted to see, was some sort of acknowledgement that all the words/time dedicated to you for free was appreciated.

You see, the conversation could go no farther, and you've just created a reason to make the thread better, by asking a new question, so seriously, congrats. :)

i sometimes dont answer them because either there is too much...or i just want them to continue discussing so i can find out more...either way this thread is about dying now...

thanks for all the guys that answered...i see now that the ps3 is as just as capable as the 360 and would be worth my cost...

to SOLIDTY: ill def show you the pix of my ps3 and my psn id just to prove that i was not fake (also lets try not to argue next time)

p.s. maybe ill make another thread on the ps3 forum about quinix/aa

p.s.s i usually do not acknowledge this way because it makes me feel...lame...

who cares just play the damn games.

SolidTy

we're not talking about just playing games...i want to talk about the advantages, graphic wise, of the ps3 or the 360 graphic architecture...

of course graphics dont matter when your having fun,,,but it does add on to the atmosphere...

i mean, the differences are minute but the 360 sometimes has like better shadows, or lighting, or color, or smoke...

its just that why couldnt those be the same on the ps3?

Hey guys, ive always wondered why do multiplatform games always seem to be better on the 360 than the ps3?

1. on all four gamespot graphics war the 360 was a clear winner...

2. although games nowadays are getting almost identical, the 360 has either better looking textures, or more effects and details than its ps3 counter part

3. almost every review gamespot, ign, and etc say most multiplatform games look a tad better on the 360 (gotten from multiple reviews: batman aa, resident evil 5, and etc.)

how is this possible when ps3 is outputting graphically amazing games like killzone 2, and uncharted 2?

please give me some technical details...not just raw fanboy answers...thanks...

I can't tell you how comfortable you're going to be with a controller because it's all based on your preference. The simple solution is to ask a friend that happens to own a PS3, or go to GameStop and try out a couple of demos on the PS3 kiosk.

dang why didnt i think of this? lol

QUESTION: what is exactly the sixaxis?

Ps3 and Xbox 360 controllers are Almost Identical, have tried both and the latter is just larger and has an extra pad. Saying so I do like the former better .3aNkabot

they're almost identical? thats good...i thought since the ps3 controller thumbsticks were right next to each other that they will be a little bit uncomfortable to hold with...but thats good...real good...

QUESTION: how do the triggers feel? do your fingers sleep when you get sweaty (because they're not like triggers)? do they feel comfortable(pretty wide)?

was wondering how the ps3 controller felt...is it good...(anyone with or played the 360 controller?)

how does it feel? is your movements sluggish? is the two analog buttons to closely placed? what about the trigger buttons?SolidTy

Seems fishy in the PS3 forums, but okay. I answered from a PS360 owning perspective, and a PC guy answered you from a PC perspective...

wow...so its pretty good? i thought fps are better on the 360 controller instead of a ps3(i know pc fps is the ultimate)?

Mister_korea

Oh, so you thought 360 controllers are better, and you weren't really wondering?:|

You deliberately came to the PS3 section for what purpose? You just said two different things.

Which is it, you were "wondering how the PS3 controller felt", or you"thought FPS are better on 360 INSTEAD of PS3" ?

Seems you already have decided.

uh you can have an opinion before wondering....because i have never played with a ps3 controller...and since im purchasing a ps3 i wanted to know how it felt...and whats better than asking real ps3 owner??!?!

I was always a PC gamer, got a PS3 and i was really amazed at how quickly and easily i adapted to the controller for FPS games. Its really easy to aim, even for sniping. Since your used to the 360 controller, im sure you'll adapt quickly. I managed it from PC, so im sure you can too. I really like the PS3 controller.Rattlesnake_8

or shooters in general...

i was an ardent 360 owner until it started lagging behind in AAA exclusive titles (im all about them) so decided to ditch my fanboyism and get a ps3

anyway i really liked the 360 controller layout for the 360 and was wondering how the ps3 controller felt...is it good...(anyone with or played the 360 controller?)
