I want to pick up Dark Souls, but I was wondering. Do I need to play through Demon's Souls first?

Oh lord, I have like Ty 2 for original xbox. Honestly, your bringing me back to the good old days, I was like 7 playing Ty 2 Airplane Fighting, and you had airships and everything. It would be a great game for maybe 200 MS on xbox live, but I doubt I would pay to play it again.ambitiond
