Okay paul bunyan. I need to upgrade my computer in order for me to play all those next gen games that are coming out for the pc. You got it? Also, the gamepad doesn't work well with the PC. I've tryed those. I'll stick to consoles. Cheaper and better IMO. BIYA!!!!

I'm curious as to what you guys would do,because I predict nextgen consoles will become more casual oriented. It's highly likely Nintendo's next console will go in the same direction as the Wii. Microsoft has lost a lot of money (warranty extension), exclusives are going to the PC, and they are doing bad in Japan. IMO I think this will be their last console and they're going to give the PC more support in the coming years. This leaves Sony, depending on how well or bad the PS3 does they could release another all in one entertainment hub like the PS3 is now, or go the more casual direction like Nintendo.

So in summary, Microsoft isn't doing so hot and I think are better off as a software only company. Nintendo will probably keep doing what they're doing, and Sony is still up in the air. So, when next gen rolls around I predict this pretty much only leaves the PC for hardcore gaming unless Sony does well this gen. No flaiming, it's just a prediction and I'm not stating anything as fact.

Well most consoles can at least show improved graphics on day one. The killer apps don't come until later.

The problem with the Wii is that it can't even satisfy on that level. So its not just waiting for good games, its waiting for good graphics, and its still waiting to show any real innovation. Its failing in everything but sales.
