okay so all games (a podcast at all games.com) said playstation nation is going to be smiling wide june 11th

ign and psm had the exclusive on the game

while other media like all games were on an embargo

it turns out the announcement was THE AGENCY

The agency is a sci-fi fps mmo developed by sony onlie entertainment the are not a first party but they are under the sony umbrella so the game will be exclusive to the ps3 and pc

now all of u are probably dissapointed arent u

dont blame sony blame all games

a caller said they were dissapointed but scott rubin said "you have to see the game footage" "real time!"

Well, Metroid is being made by an american dev (Retro) and sells poorly in Japan. But as for the other two, it's right.

It doesn't sell bad because it's made by an american dev *crash series and rare games sold millions* it's because Nintendo doesn't advertise it. Yes I know 130,000 seems small but remember the Japanese population is a third of the U.S. So to put it to contrast it's 300,000.

To put it in short.

Metroid is to Japan as Fire Emblem is to America.

Actually some games like Rachet and Clank, GTA, and Sim City sell pretty well in Japan.

But pretty well is nowhere close to the millions the franchises I mentioned sell in Europe/USA.

Actually yes they are, adjust it to population size these games sell the same amount and even more *mainly Devil May Cry* then some of the games you listed.

If Twilight Princess was Ocarina of Time, it would have been a hell of a game. Unfortunately, it's nowhere close. But you didn't play it, so you wouldn't know.

Super Paper Mario was transfered to the Wii, there's no GC version, it has content and references that wouldn't have been possible on GC, and its art direction is no evolution, as it's totally unique. But you wouldn't know as you didn't play it.

As the non-ports quote, you were saying the Wii gets a lot of ports. Sure - but that's now what interests Wii owners, it's the new games.

Yes, I called it a remake in my first post, but you conveniently didn't notice it so you could bring "port" to the discussion.

Zelda got 8.8 because it's nowhere as good as previous Zelda - the GC version didn't get AAA neither.

Nopes, they aren't, go play them. 3D Metal Gears and Final Fantasies are close to their 2D oldschool games. But the same doesn't happen with Nintendo, they actually evolve their games, or at least try new directions often. If you played more than your PSP you'd know it.
