I guess better graphics do have a cost. How come all demos, trailers and screenshots thus far have ALL been on a 360? Even more so I dont see why rockstar doesnt just come out and say hard drive required. If you have just a core, guess what go buy a cheap memory card. I'm sure we all had to do that with a PS2 at sometime. Then Rockstar wouldnt gripe, we wouldnt gripe, and this entirethread would become even more worthless.
Some news this morning showing that there's a possibility that Sony may announce, sometime after 60GB's sell out, that they will release a new 40GB PS3 for $399. The same price as the standard 360 console.
I do understand that there's a good possibility that this news is false. We'll never know for sure until it happens. But what if........? How would MS be able to compete when they have the whole warranty issue binding them to their current price?
Would all of the price excuses disappear? Or would there be another reason not to buy the PS3?

Doubt that highly, your still waiting for Sony to catch up in install base, and with this current "price drop" MS is likely to counter, just waiting for the holiday season. It amazes me how OK you Sony fanboys are with a lame pricedrop that really is just to clear the shelves of the 60GB, once those are gone its back to good ole $599. Oops
It still amazes me that they're porting great console games to the PC, where they generally are cheaper to buy (company doesnt make as much) and the market share is so low (Yes we all have PC's but most no where strong enough to play these games well). I just dont see the point in pissing off a bunch of loyal Epic fans to sell another what, 100,000 copies maybe on the pc? Case and point, Overlord for the PC just got dropped to 29.99, half the price of the 360 version. People want to buy these games on the $400-600$ GAMING machine that purchased, not for it to sit there and collect dust cause i'm on the computer. Betrayed no, confounded, absolutely.
Bestbuy had over 10 in stock this morning is Rochester, had to pick up some dvd's this morning. Yes Sony kicked but at E3, but this so called "pricecut" (i say that because they're dumping off old SKU's with the OLD controller, and its still minimum $499) I'm sure a surge in sales will look great on paper, but i could see it back-firing big time.
I only got to play about 10 minutes before I left for work, I was a little confused on how all this comes together, been a while since i've played turn-based anything. Seemed pretty good though, a lotta depth. I was a little puzzled in my short gametime that I faced the same 3 bad guys in a row, normally not so bad but in a turn-based game gets a little redundant.
I was too disappointed with MS's show to call them a winner. I say playstation won, as much as it pains me to say it, they knocked it out of the park in comparison to the other two.
