So, since we've established that we don't have absolute free will, and that, hypothetically, God could have taken other abilities from us, such as flying, and we still get along fine, why not take away an aspect of free will that's more of a hindrance than anything else? We can't fly, we can't see in ultraviolet, we can't do a whole lot of things, so why not be unable to kill?Crypto138
We were always unable to see the ultraviolet, and unable to fly. Its impratical for what we do. We can kill because all things CAN kill. Its more a generalization of free will, to be able to kill. So why change it now?

Contrary to popular belief.. there is no such thing as free will.

EMOEVOLUTION
How so? Free will means we do what we want, when we want. There is yes, man's laws, but hell, what about little Mr. Ted Bundy. That didn't stop him from raping and killing throughout the 1970's. So how can there be no free will?

Yeah, I changed the boot order to CD, Floppy, and then HD. The system will not run at all. It says, I quote:

'SYSTEM ERROR. PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK'

If I do, it still says that. Bios is the only openable thing, but not really runable

Update

My comp REALLY died. BIOS now opens, but I cannot select anything in the sub menus. So I can get into, say, Bootup, but it then freezes. The HD's are still stuffed. Thinking of getting a new system.

Here's my problem-

I have a PC that has been thrashed, MURDERED for 6 to 7 years at a med clinic, (never turned off and used by docs with minimal IT skills) so when they upgrade their rigs, I grab a PC for Free.

Bonus.

But the HD is doing wacky stuff, so I had a chat to Agg (my uncle) and he recommended I get a install disk for Windows, and start fresh. One trip to a local computer store later. But I get no BIOS prompt, I cannot force boot it, and if Ionly putin my second HD which does not have a OS on it, to see if it will force boot off the disk, it doesn't.

So. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this, so I can get this comp from stuffing up every two seconds? My system specs are as follows:

512 MB RAM

FX 5200 Geoforce

Pentium4 1.6 Ghz processor, single core

I'm going insane here, if anyone has any suggestions, post em. Thanks guys.

Is it a wireless keyboard? I had the same problem a while ago, it turned out the shift key had screwed up and was pressing again, and again, again. It wouldn't register as stuck, though, as it was pressing, not stuck. Doe's it register when playing a game, like one that requires the shift key as crouch? Because if not, it may (Hopefully) just be the desktop deciding to be an idiot.

HELP!

I found system shock 2 on c-dos abandonware, and thought it would be a good game to try out....

It crashes like a L plater on speed.

I get to selecting difficulty, and then press start game.

Black screen of death.

I then get a 'Windows must close this program, sorry about this, yada yada yada.'

I am running a older comp, but I outstrip the requirements needed for the game.

I am running:

1.6 gigahertz processer (Celeron)

256 DDR Ram

Nvidia Geoforce FX 5200

XP Pro

I have gone theough God knows how many forums out there for an explanation, but the main one seems to be the compatability. They just put it to 2000 compatability mode and away she goes, but my computer seems to think it is Windows NT..... When I checked the technical data in the crash thingo, the system stats said it was NT, even tho I had gone through compatibility wizard...

If there is another thread out there that has the answer, please point me to it!

It's likely that a PSP2 is coming out, but I don't think that a new revised San Andreas will come out for it, it will be a totally new un.
