I'm in my 3rd semester and was advised to take courses taught by a guy who's gotten rave reviews but taking both his classes would have me from 6:30 to 9 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I've never taken a class over an hour and 15 minutes long let alone at night so I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this?
Mostly what i'm concerned about is not being available for a job I could get or the general idea of being in school after dinner. Does it feel weird being on a completely different schedule than most? Going to college in the mornings (I never have class past noon) doesn't bother me because I'm a morning person and there's almost nothing to do at those times anyway. I've never been like "Aw damn wish I was free at 9 AM tomorrow".
Also do teachers really matter? I've only had 1 really poor one but it didn't affect my grade, only my interest and effort. On second thought I guess it did affect my grade.
The classes are world religion and philosophy. I'm pretty interested in both but sitting in a class after sunset for 2.5 hours would be new for me.
