That was definetly one of the more interesting reads I've read in any forum. I don't know if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

I've had to go to two DMV's in my life: One in Puerto Rico, another in Illinois. The one I went to in the U.S. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

The one in PR I was there the whole day. From 6AM to about 4PM. It was Hell, indeed. But the one in Illinois was heaven. ;)

Far as I'm concerned blu-ray isn't even the "big format". It's still DVD. Far as I'm concerned, DVD will not be phased out untill something massively different is available. DVD to bluray is no where near as big a leap as vhs to DVD was. Blu-ray's advantage over DVD: Better picture, more disk space (and I really haven't seen many movies that cannot fit on one DVD). DVD's advantage over VHS: Interactive menus, smaller size, bigger storage, multiple subtitles and languages on a single disk, bonus features that couldn't be done with VHS, Scene selection, deleted scenes, etc.

Indeed. I know I won't be buying a Blue-Ray until movies come out exclusively on it. I did the same when DVDs came out and people still had VHS. I ended up buying the DVD player when VHSs stopped coming out.

Blue-Ray is cool, but it's not enough for me to want to buy it. I'd feel like I was replacing my DVD player with another DVD player.

This. You have to understand that if you had gotten injured, or your friend, the school would be in DEEP, DEEEEEEP trouble. Yes, I agree, it stinks, but sadly that's how it is. :S

I am pretty much the same way. I am Puerto Rican, so I'm Hispanic. Most of the more annoying kids in my high school and in the university were Hispanics. I was ashamed at that, and because of the current condition of my little island, it's kind of hard to be proud of my race. So, what I do is just not care about what race, and just concentrate on being a good person and set a good example. :) Just be yourself, man. You seem like a good kid/man, so keep it up!
