Pro sony people will hype this thing to no end because of sony's poor online community and offerings at the moment and anti sony people will trash it to no end because it just may be better than what their flagship is offering. Come this fall when every PS3 user has gotten to mess around with Home we'll know. There will no doubt be some problems but this is a huge step forward for Sony in competing with xbox live, and I have almost no doubt that MS will try to copy the Home idea if it turns out to be successful.
Remember the original Xbox launch in Japan and there is the answer to why the Japs don't like Xbox. ALso Europe loves sony and that pretty much sums up why the ps3 will outsell the 360, North American numbers almost mean nothing since the 360 will probably edge out the ps3 by a few million by year's end but worldwide the ps3 should be ahead.

That's because the xbox is more powerful than the PS2 and most Wii games right now are PS2 games or cancled PS2 games. a year from now 360 and ps3 games will look insane and wii games will look like xbox games

Not for people that want to watch HD-DVD's. But considering Blu-Ray is smashing HD-DVD I'd have to agree overall. HDDVD will be dead by year's end or early 08.
