maybe MS were just testing the water and will just release a 120 gig add on for much less than 180 bucks. That'd put everyone in their place. Itd be smart on their part since "The Elite" was a hooorrible decision.
No one is being ripped off. People who want it can buy it. I don't need it, my black premium is good enough for me. I might get a black controller to match, though. ironwarrior2
so those who wanted the best experience possible out of their 360 and bought the premium aren't ripped off? Maybe you're not but you can't deny that some people are getting shafted
MS taking out its unreliabilities would be like MacDonald's giving up its golden arches. How will you know you're playing a 360 unless its loud as hell
The Elite only effects those who either A. Have a 360 and want to upgrade or B. those who don't own a 360 who might now be interested in the 360
The Elite doesn't effect those who are happy with their 20gigs (or 0 gigs) and who either don't have a HD tv or feel components suffice.
There is though a group whos size is unknown and probably small enough for MS to neglect as they have.That want/need an upgrade.
But in conclusion are people ripped off? perhaps but thats how the progression of technology goes. I suppose the real question is was the progression necessary.
