I would be all in but considering I bought it again for my PSvita chances are I will not buy it unless they used the Advanced Version of it. :|

I wouldn't mind replaying it but I totally agree with what you say, even IF they did decide to do it, it would take forever to redo all of the maps, characters, weapons, summons, effects, magic, etc into today's standards of graphics.

I have taken that since they said it as their nice way of saying, "Shut up, we are never going to remake it."

A lot of their new ones are good(in my opinion) but VII is so incredibly popular the chances of a future game outselling it is so far off It's laughable. Unless Versus actually does amazingly well after all this time, I hope it does because it looks like it could be one of the best RPGs ever made.

You mean stuck on IV? If so it's probably to do with being the first Final Fantasy to really have a story and established likable characters and set up a lot of things that returned in future Final Fantasies. It is also pretty popular.

Actually XIII has sold about 6.50mill and XIII-2 has sold 2.8million.

I never said you did, I said them making it or not making it won't affect Versus ANY differently.

If no one cared about it they wouldn't make another, if in all the XIII series has sold about 9.64million copies and people are still behind them then they are going to make the last one, if they are making money off of it they are going to finish it.

I was hoping for more characters to play in the next sequel but as long as we can play as Lightning again I am pretty happy.

The problem is with a remake of VII that if they mess up ONE thing that was in the original, can you imagine what those people who grovel at a remake of it would do? It would probably destroy them.
