I have to choose one of them. Which one should i buy, and why. Some pro/cons would ne great. Arma 2 without any expansions or mod is good ? Is there a good community to be played in a hardcore mode ?
I've played it before at a friend for like half a hour. It's ok, but i wanted to know if there's still a strong community out there. Also, how is Arma 2. The original one, without any expansion or mod ?
There's milions of people playing CS 1.6, and that's older than Battlefield 2. What's wrong with the gameplay, i don't care about graphics. I saw Project Reality mod, and it really cought me. I am looking for a hardcore game, a game that requires GOOD teamplay. About Battlefield 3. Please, shoot yourself, ok ? Too many cheaters, some animations are bad, or at least worse than BC 2, for eg explosions. Too many bugs, too. Input lag on consoles, and so on and so forth.
I play CS for about 7 years now. I just downloaded Tribes, it's awesome, but i have to learn to surf lol. For some reason, Blacklight Retribution doesn't works for me ... Anyway, thaks.

Dwarf Fortress is a game for crazy people. Gnomoria is a game for slightly less crazy people.
Actually, I've not played either, but Dwarf Fortress has always interested me. To learn it's systems and download a tile set that I want and to just deal with the mechanics of it is more effort than I want to give to one game like that. Gnomoria has comprehensible graphics, and the UI is already easier to understand than Dwarf Fortress.
Of course, the problem that comes along with that is that most Dwarf Fortress clones don't have nearly the same number of features and abilities.

That UI it's kinda tricky, in Gnomoria. It's incomplete, and it feels somehow wrong in some places. Anyway, the game is in alpha, so i'm sure it will get better. It's really not that hard to understand Dwarf Fortress mechanics, it's hard at the beggining, because it places you straight into the action. Same with the UI. It's kinda same with Gnomorias, just without graphics, only texts, and i find that better in some cases. Besides graphics, i don't really see what Gnomoria has to offer, nor what it will have to offer ... You should really make some time and give Dwarf Fortress a go, you won't regret it. YouTube is full of tutorials, some of them being really good.
Since you didnt like WoW, chances are you might not enjoy RIFT. They are kinda similar. RIFT is better but still.
GW2 is so-so. Certainly a huge step down from GW1, but not exactly a bore either.

I disagree. EVE Online, GW2, TSW and RIFT are all better than WoW.
You can't compare WoW with EVE Online. In terms of gameplay mechanics, possibilities, storyline, and playerbase, i think WoW is the best. I might be wrong, of course.
I've already played the demo, about one hour of it, and it didn't impresed me. On the site i can't find any information regarding what they have in mind to do with it. I was thinking i will find someone here that already bought the game, or who at least have some sort of information about it. I enjoyed more the first hour of playing Dwar Fortress, even it has no graphics, and even is more complicated ...
GW 2 is indeed going down, you will have a slight problem finding people in lower areas right now, but it's great to explore, if you want it get it now till the entire world except the major cities will be completely empty, as for Rift, get WoW. Not sure what you expect from a MMO, but these are not action games, if WoW is boring which is in fact the only good MMO out there, with EvE 2nd and that is several levels extra of "boring", then you won't really find MMOs worth playing, unless you want Asian MMOs that are so awesome, so "not" boring that you'll find them boring an hour later.DanielDust
WORDS ! There's no MMO better than WoW right now. And WoW, in my oppinion, stopped being a good MMO since Wrath of the lich king expansion came out. I haven't played Mists of Pandaria yet, and i think i'm not even going to. You can try Allods. I don't know how good it is, i've played it for about 10 hours and got bored of it. They say it is a copy of WoW, and i tend to agree with that, but ... you cand try it, i don't know. Unless you like Asian-Style-MMOs, you don't really have much to choose from. The only MMO that i liked more than WoW was MU Online, which became crap aswell, few years ago, with season 4 "expansion" . It had kinda crap combat, but the community made me love the game.
