Moshakirby, in your guide you talk about hdmi - dvi cable between the monitor and the ps3, but i didn't see you mentioning hdmi - hdmi between them, so if i'd have a widescreen monitor with a hdmi connection, couldn't i just use hdmi - hdmi cable? Or do i have to use dvi - hdmi?

Now i just gotta make a desicion about which monitor to buy. I want it to have very good quality, but i don't want to pay loads for it, the Asus seems like the best choise (so far) but i've read so much good stuff about other monitors, and someone just told me on other forum, that the Benq G2400W would be a better choise than the Asus. Anyway one thing is sure, i am going for a monitor.

Well since im still in school and stuff i really can't afford a brand new hd tv unless i get a job, but then i wouldn't have time to play the ps3, and i live in Europe so we get to pay more than Americans :). Because i've been a Pc-gamer for.. well a very long time it's better for me this way i guess. Anyways i can use my bed if i don't feel comfortable.

Cool so i don't have to buy a seperate bluetooth mic? Btw. how good is the monitors' mic/camera/speakers compared to the best ones on the market?

Thanks, i looked at the topic, and i was kinda shocked about the Asus monitor you were talking about, i looked at the specs and stuff, and it seems to be a perfect monitor for me!

Since it has built in speakers i should get sound by just plugging hdmi-hdmi between the monitor and the ps3, right? It doesn't have as good resolution as the Benq G2400W, but does it still support 1080p? Anyways im pretty sure this monitor is better than the Benq.

Okay, so i've been looking at this monitor Benq G2400W, and since it has the right connections i could hook it up with my Pc and Ps3 at the same time. Anyone got this monitor with their ps3, because i'd like to know how it works with it. Oh and since the monitor doesn't have built in speakers i'd have to buy them, so what kind of speakers do i need to work with ps3 and my Pc?
