Hey seriosly guys... It's impossible to compare shooters and rpgs. Just impossible. So these games are in top in their class so you just must decide to get both of them or just think that do you like tprpgs or tpshooters.
The only u guys all say Master chief because ur Halo fans give it up for the new guys we all know Gears of War is a good ass game thats all people wanna play on x-box live come a guy who cant show his face after he saves the day shouldnt win it should be the guys who doesnt care to get shot in the head...

gears was nothing special. halo is perhaps the greatest shooter series ever created and is hailed as such for good reason. master chief has got to be the most bad *** mofo I've ever seen. hes a one man army in the truest sense of the phrase.
I disagree. It's not the best by a long shot. Half-Life 2 alone is much better. In my opinion Gears of War is much better also. That's most likely because I don't like the child-like setting of Halo with it's bright colours and funny looking aliens.
But, I suppose, it's all personal opinion.

I just hate turn based games where enemies can pop enywhere. And that battle circle was just useless... And the dragon things behind their back... Just sad.
I play my 360 on a 24in SDTV and the graphics are still great. Obviously there is a difference but I don't think it's as large as some people say it is.
