Hello, I have the Sansung 2233rz for the last couple of years. Nice monitor, but max resolution is 1680x1024. I want to buy another 120hz monitor with 1920x1080 or better.
Money is not a problem as I worked during the summer. Which monitor would you recommed? Do you think I will feel the difference with games? I just bought a GTX570 so I will be able to play games at high resolution. Thanks
I use the computer to play games and some web browsing. I want to update my old monitor as I bought a new GTX570.
I have the Sansung 2233rz. It is a great monitor but I am limited to 1680x1050.
I want to try a 120hz monitor as I have a Sansung 2233rz that is 120hz and , even if I dont paly in 3D, I like it 120hz.
I can spend some money I have been saving...so what would be the advise?
This is the 2233rz :

So what is the best you can get these days? Will I feel a nice boost in image quality?

This is gamespot's system wars, flops, hype met, GOTYs, there is only one site that really matters. 8) I dont know if it is the best game this generation, but what I dont know is that it has been like 4 years since I didnt enjoyed a game as I am enjoyed playing The Witcher 2

well, you shouldve expected it, upgrading from a gtx 275 to a 570gtx isn't a huge jump. It is a jump but not a leap or anything.

It's a pretty big leap in most games. You're just not going to see that big of an increase in a 5 year-old DX9 benchmark with that CPU at stock speeds. It's a combination of 3dmark06 just not being able to use much more horsepower, and the CPU not being able to supply a GTX 570 with the data it needs to push it a little bit faster.
The truth is that I felt a pretty big increase in most games, in Bad company 2, bulletstorm, shogun 2, dead space 2... they run more smooth and the combination of the gtx570 with a 120hz monitor is awesome and I havent tried 3D (not into it). I dont care about benchmarks, I would only overclock my i7 920 if I would get better performance in games. As a guy mentioned above, if I OC the i7 to , for example 3.3 or 3.5, I will only get 3 or 4 more FPS in games? That is nothingI guess that is also a joke, it has the best lineup for this year, only with KOTOR MMO, Witcher or Diablo 3 it is blowing up consolesConsoles don't do RTS well (or have any), so it was obvious it wouldn't get ported to consoles. Good thing it didn't get consolized though, since PC barely has any games to play.
