I was obviously exaggerating your point to undermine it. To be honest, I do know what you mean, and it actually is true in some respects. If you really want to be turned off by someone, take an actual hard look at the wrinkles, creases, blemishes and such upon their face and body. It can be pretty unappealing. However, most of the time, we don't care, but we're aware of it.

Exactly. I don't care that people are weird looking up close. I rarely get a chance to look that closely anyway. I just thought it was interesting that we are all odd looking, which kind of destroys the importance of superficiality or one's looks.

Not true. Nobody's face has equal proportions. I mean really look at a face without make-up and you will see that everyone is not as attractive as they seem from further away. Look close enough so that you can actually see their pores, blemishes, hairs, all the imperfections.

I've got to disagree. I don't think that everyone looks ugly from close up, though certainly odd. I've seen beautiful people from very close up and I can't say that I've found them ugly. I think that it's your own perspective.
