May 9th, it's my birthday today!

Please wish me a happy birthday, because until now it isn't so happy.

If you want you can also write what you would want as a birthday gift.

When I will get mine, I'll tell you what it is.

Happy birthday to me!

New Emblem!

I have a new emblem!

Technosaprotroph! look to the right! I got it for completing the first scavenger hunt on gamespot!

Titan Mode = Strategy Game

Just managed to pass the winding path before Clotho in GOW II Titan mode.

As you all know, GOW II is an action adventure game, but when you play it in Titan mode, you realize pretty soon that if you don't not know what's happening and form yourself a strategy, you will not succeed. This is most evident in the winding path before Clotho, if you will fight blindly and attack without any planning ahead you will fail, and fail and fail....

I PASSED IT! I am very close to the final fight! I hope I will finish it before my birthday! I don't know why, but I will love to finish it by that time!

Spider-man 3 - The Movie

I went to see Spider-man 3 yesterday. I hate to disappoint you guys but the movie is not that great, fun, but not great! Don't get me wrong, the action sequences were great and the way the Venom and Sandman looks is great at certain points of the film, especially the beginning, Sandman not so much at the end. but the whole Almodovar-musical-west side story theme of the movie just didn't fit. A movie is not a string of effects and action sequences, it has to have something in between, and what Raimi put in between wasn't that good. I think that action movies are going in a direction that will force the producers to invest in the next stage of special effect supervisors - the drama and acting supervisor.

The movie had it's great moments, but the acting wasn't consistent (except for Thomas Haden Church, that does a great job throughout the whole movie) and the melodramatic streak that runs through the film is just weird.

But hey, this is only my opinion, and I'm not going to give a full blown review here. Just go and see the film, but remember to lower your expectations and you will not be disappointed!

Finally!

I finally managed to pass the first translator in GOW II! Right on time for those how read the last post!

I have 8 days for my birthday , and I hope to finish the game by then, who knows what I will get as a gift, maybe I will not have time to play the game, maybe I'll have another game to play.

What do you say about leaving me a comment?

Titan Mode Obsession - Part II.

I'm still stuck at the first translator part in GOW II in Titan mode.

Frustration :(

I'm going to try to beat this part by May 1st, if I will not be able to do it by then I will stop trying and stop playing the game and accept that in my venerable age of 34 (May 9th), maybe Titan mode is to much for me.

I don't suck at this game that is certain (I think). I managed to pass all the previous obstacles without to much difficulty, I blame it on my age... yes, it is my age. :?, coordination and reflexes are failing me and soon I will be sent to a home.

Away desperation! There are still 5 days remaining, and technically I'm still 33!

Wish me luck!

Level 29!

Just got promoted to level 21 - Radiant Silvergun!

Still stuck at the first translator part in GOW II on Titan Mode.

Must go on, must go on!!!

Titan Mode Obsession in God of War II

I'm currently trying to finish God of War II in the Titan Mode difficulty, I'm about two thirds down the road and I must tell you, IT IS HARD. VERY HARD!

In fact it is so hard that the game isn't much fun as it was in Spartan (Normal) difficulty. When I'll finish the game in the Titan difficulty, sorry, if I finish the game in the Titan difficulty, there will be a sense of achievement, I'll be happy and I will feel as if I accomplished something that not everyone can do, but where is the fun if the game is so difficult that you can't advance more than 15 minutes without getting stuck in some unwinnable battle against a hoard of enemies? Don't get me wrong, I love this game, and I think it is brilliant, but what is the point in playing it if it is no fun anymore, and it is just done for accomplishment sake? You can't tell me that there is someone how is enjoys dying as often as you die in the game? The frustration, GOD! A GAME SHOULD BE FUN, NOT FRUSTRATING!

of course I'm going to at least try and complete the game in Titan mode, but I don't know why I'm doing it, for the accomplishment say you (and me)? Completing the game is not such a great accomplishment in life, I can try to accomplish many other things instead, things I would consider a much greater accomplishment than beating God of War II in Titan mode, but still I don't seem to allocate as much time for them as I do to playing the game, things like writing, shooting and editing my final movie for university, and getting a B.F.A degree in film arts.

I have to do something about it. (Like finishing the game already) Did any of you choose to play a game in an obsessive like way instead of doing things you have to, and in fact, want to do?

Tagger Master

I got the Tagger Master emblem.

Good for me (again...)

The emblem chase is starting to tire me a little.
