mute them or dont have headphones!

dont make this a forum post:D

RedChuckz
WTF of course this should be a forum post. As for muting or not having headphone.. to play a lot of games to their full potential you need to have your mic and headphones... why should I be made to miss out on that with a game I have bought and paid for.

Then why should the other person talking on the mic not say what ever he wants he paid for it so please stfu. Mods close this topic already.

what the hell. Okay Freedom of Speech and all but just because you pay for something does not give you the right to say racist and abusive behavior because you 'paid for it'. You don't and can't pay to have the right to abuse someone, never have and never will. If you think that because those on XBL pay their whatever fee every month gain the right to say abusive and maybe racist languague then you my friend are quite wrong.

Wow...what a pathetic thread...you are more concerned over your stupid TV than your actual grandma. Do you even realise that it wasnt your grandmothers fault.

Geez people say the youth don't have respect...prehaps they are right.

Although the graphics look superb and yes you will need a flipping good PC to play on maxium settings, the gameplay and actual content is horrendous. Numerous patches are slowly being released now and usually was every Monday and Thursday, no longer the case. Some content which was meant to be implemented is still not in such as crafting and many, many bugs which are yet to be fixed.

Personally, i would wait for a while before getting the game, say 1-2 months so they can actually put in the stuff they said they would.

Frankly from what you've said, it sounds like you already know what you want.

Orange Box :-

Pro's- 5 games in one package

Offer on steam, so cheaper than before

Awesome multiplayer game, TF2 available which from what you've said you want to play a MP game

Cons

1 game out of 5 you want to play so paying for the games you dont want to play or dont intend to play kinda silly

Might not like TF2 thus 0/5 games you want to play....waste of 40 bucks

Okay now just buying CS:S

Pros -

Multiplayer game-what you want

Cheaper than Orange box as it is just one game thats been out for quite a long time hence cheaper

Don't get other games you dont want to play

Cons -

One game and one game only, whilst orange box has 5

If you get the fancies for a SPlayer game, kinda out of luck since CS:S is only MP

Ive told you both sides, so now upto u :)

Personally, i am waiting for Warhammer Online and not so much Age of Conan why? well because frankly i dont like the style of Age of Conan, okay its mature thus blood and all the gore you could ever want but to be honest i dont really like them kinda games so i dont intend to play that on release. Nevertheless, regarding who is going to get more members from the WoW community, i don't really know. Age of Conan offers players all the brutailty they always wanted in a game whilst Warhammer with its immense content and how the game has been developed with approved content from the Warhammer makers themselves really does look astounding with lighting and optimisation on (video footage).

Will definately say Avatar. But to be honest consider it...most people just see avatar as a cartoon thus automatically presume its childish etc etc not all but most people do. Frankly although season 3 for avatar is clearly taking the piss...seasons 1 and seasons 2 were simply breathtaking...the depth of characters and the progression of the story just makes you want to keep on watching.

Lost by no means is rubbish, far from it as you can tell by the ratings it gets and how high they are. But i do hate the way it constantly leaves u thinking...did i actually learn anything from that episode? or am i on another cliffhanger

To be honest, ive played both 1.6 and CS: Source. Overall, both are good and both are reknown in the fps genre. But i must say out of the two i would rather play cs:source than 1.6. Why? Alright people will say 1.6 requires more skill than source and frankly...what are you basing this on? The hitboxes? Well in both games they are screwed up so neither of them has the upper hand. Graphically, CS:source is superior...no doubt about that and in this era of gaming people seem to play more 'nicer' looking games and frankly i do too...why play a 2+ year old game when you can play one that looks better and still is true to the core.

Okay CS:source does have its problems mainly the people that play it. A minority of the people are totally *insert swearword here* BUT ITS THE SAME FOR BOTH GAMES. On 1.6 every player is not a kind fellow human being...far from it...and same for cs:source. Its just you have to accept that in the world we live in...theres some right *insert sweardword here* people. Find a server you like and favourite it...then play on it...
