Sort of miss the days when Final Fantasy was still under Hironobu Sakaguchi, not this j-pop off shoot with rpg elements.

[QUOTE="skrat_01"]Heavy Rain, amazing? Hahahahahah, ah dear. That game can't even work out a decent and coherent plot or narrative without being full of holes and character continuity issues. It's okay, and a bold experiment in the evolution of the Fahrenheit formula for a triple A game. It's not terribly good, nor is it great, at all.tomarlyn

I heard all that stuff about massive plot holes and expected to be disappointed by the story when I got the game, but I don't remember noticing any plot holes at all. I'm not saying they don't exist but in the heat of the game I never noticed any, I actually kept waiting for them to spring up like a sore thumb. I kinda felt lied to and should have just expected the amazing and polished experience I ultimately got.

How about... SPOILERS ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't read the Private Detective's thoughts about being a killer? are we supposed to think he doesn't know he's the killer?

:OOO VANCOUVER! If it's as accurate as they claim it will be, I'm excited.

I also think they should shoehorn in a few Vancouver-based landmarks (Vancouver Library, UBC Chan Centre, Koerner Library) as a kiss to all the great sci-fi shows filmed here (Battlestar Galactica and Stargate, among others).

Sharpie125
Ok the UBC chan centre and Koerner Library are not real Vancouver landmarks, you're spot on with the Vancouver Library, but seriously, outside of UBC there are more important landmarks that could be in this game. The Art gallery for one, Canada Place, Stanley Park. But considering Mass Effect takes place a long time from now, I'm sure only stanley park could possibly remain.

Wow. I'm glad since I live in Vancouver that it'll be included in Mass Effect 3, even to see it destroyed haha.

Yes and no, Yes it was a mistake in the sense that his future games didn't have nearly as much funding or manpower to flush out his ideas well enough, but on the other hand, you could tell SE was dipping into his work more and more, especially with FFX compared to FFVII. And considering the downhill direction the series took after he left, it was probably overall best for him in terms of integrity.

I'd say PS3, blu-ray is a pretty good deal breaker (If you have an hdtv) although, that's all i ever use my PS3 for, as a blu-ray player and to upscale DVDs. I still use my 360 a lot more to play online and interact with other gamers.

I still hate that they're pushing 3D gaming.

And for multiplayer, wouldn't people using a normal controller potentially have an advantage over those who are using move?

Considering the prices for these 3D tvs are going down, you have to consider how desperate the stores are to get the product out of the warehouse...

On top of that, I'm not sure about the most of you, but I find it extremely annoying wearing 3-d glasses over my glasses.
