You know, I think humans believe they are more "special" than we really are.  We are not immortal.  When we die, we die, that's it.  We only function as a result of a series of chemical reactions and when those reactions cease, so does our consciousness entirely.  As much as we would all like to believe that there is some kind of "life" after death, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that supports this idea.  The great thing about that is the fact that you can believe anything you want when you are alive because when you are dead you cease to exist in any form other than a dead carcass, period.  I wish it wern't so, but that is what I believe anyways.

So, how do think humanity will become extinct?  War, disease, natural disaster?  Let's hear your thoughts.
