I think the reason that some people feel the need to tell everyone that PC gaming is better is because of all the fanboys that come on and post stuff about "X-console game looks better that Y-PC game so console gaming is better" There were quite a few threads like that just yesterday. A lot of PC gamers just want to defend thair platform of choice and nothing more. I'm sure though that there is the small minority that just post stuff like that to rile people up into a frenzy. Every console has it's share of fanboy idiots and so does the PC it's a fact of life!
