Again with the scapegoats and again with child exploitation. "They have a responsibility to protect our children. If they do not, you can count on the Congress to take a more aggressive role." Really? "They" have that responsibility and not the parents? If that isn't some cheap way of garnering support from clueless parents, i don't not what is.
In cases like the Sandy Hook shooting it's really outstanding how some people actually believe that video games were the primary source to the violent outbreak. It's never circumstance or bad parenting, no it has to be video games, and ONLY video games. As if they have encoded subliminal messages that "activates" the primitive desires of the hunt for certain people.
True, but still :/ I'd be nice to cover some new ground. Picture the teaser: It starts with a slow truck out of the sign "the city of brotherly love." Looks innocent enough, but then it ends with the full view of the destruction and chaos in the background.
Boston sounds cooh and all, if rumors are true, but i feel an opportunity is missed if it's not set in Philadelphia. The juxtaposition between the post apocalyptic setting and it's title as "The city of brotherly love" would make for interesting social commentary. Besides AC3 covered Boston.
@gunsofdeschain Reminds me of something Carlin said in his 1988 special: "And now they're thinking of banning toy guns, AND THEY'RE GONNA KEEP THE FUCKING REAL ONES!"
What's changed in 2013? With the exception of throwing violent video games into the fray, not a DAMN thing.
This episode has the compatible gamer "type" qualities specific to introverted people in general. Last episode seemed to cater to extroverted people which is why, being an introverted person myself, i felt a lack of connection.
Two episodes, two camps of gamers. One camp is full of twitchy fingered , stat boosting and foamy mouthed extroverts, while the second camp is full of misty eyed, zen filled "games are art MAN" introverts.
The old video game scapegoat, classic, as they sit stoking their REAL NON-PIXELATED instruments of death. To be honest i was expecting something along the lines of tribalistic astronomy. 2012! IT BE UPON YE!TODAY BE THEE DAY! Booga booga!
A petition, really? IV came out for PC, eventually, why wouldn't it come out for V? Just because a petition got Bioware to change up the ending for ME3 doesn't mean that all developers will just immediately give in to their fan's demands. What's next? Gonna bake R* some cupcakes?
