@Evan21 @Mr357Magnum I know what the all the fuss is all about. I've seen the review and this feedbakula episode. Hell I've been adding to the discussion waaaay down below. I just threw that out there because because its mind-numbingly childish how people could over-react to a near perfect score regardless of what the reviewer was trying to challenge. No need for the hostility. Based on how you've presented yourself i'd say your the D-BAG here and Johnny's message was specifically aimed towards YOU.
I wonder if anyone with their petty score complaints has even taken into account that the reason GTAIV received a 10/10 for its time in 2008 was because it was a complete package with the game PLUS its awesome multiplayer. GTAV received a 9/10 for its single player ALONE people. Just think about that.
@Old_Captaini Agreed! Couldn't agree more. It's interesting isn't it? Just how goofy some people are. Ignorant people don't care that they're ignorant they just love the exposure. That's why social media is so popular. Johnny keep in mind that self deprivating humor is funny to some for the ignorance it battles. Sometimes its good to see that to be made aware of what IS out there. Keep doing what you're doing. This has to be one of my favorite segments on GameSpot and it would be a shame to see it vanish into the abyss.
And there it is, straight from the lead's mouth. Never really understood how this gender inequality became THAT much of an issue. I mean, the thought of playing as THREE different characters archetypes was cool enough given that one was the usual staple. With all of these gender equality arguments i wonder how many people actually ever considered that maybe R* just couldn't come up with with decent fem lead. Can you really fault them for that?
These characters were the ones that R* created for obvious reasons; Males making a game about males basing it out of their own perspective to suit a masculine dominated profession. Why would you expect a female driven story from a male writer anyway? How much of that can you take before it starts to feel shoehorned? That of course is not to say that a man cant properly write about a women, but he shouldn't have too just to prove that he's not misogynistic.
I'd love to see a DLC with a female protagonist (wouldn't be a surprise considering the flak R* revived on this matter). But one that's not there "just because" or to be titillating eye candy. A strong gal, likable, with strong character. Here's hoping.
