sounds like pre-orders and the first days of sale is not going as well as predicted, hence the "bah, nobody should be allowed to define what makes a great game" from this guy...
@Sam_Kelly @JimmeyBurrows True, this gen we did get the really good Child of Eden for both systems, so hopefully there will be at least a few good games taking advantage of the technology available.
this is a good thing, as far as motion-based and voice-controlled gaming go. With a similar system in place on the two competing next-gen systems there will be more interest and incentive for developers to come up with interesting games and applications, knowing the installed userbase and potential sales will be greater.
weird score, just reading through the review one gets the impression there's been plenty of stuff added, what with the new fight engine, better collision detection on the ice, a cool (no pun intended) retro mode etc. And yet the score is just 6.0, have to wonder if the reviewer is the same one setting the score of if it's Activision's ad/bribe money that's determining the final score...hmmm
And half a year ago they said that "every new game and IP needs to have a first-person shooter element added to them, or they won't be successful" (or something to that effect), they sure change their tune on a regular basis, don't they?
