[QUOTE="kla55lazers"]Hi, I am getting a PS3 next month and it is going to be my first console since the gamecube... so it has been a while since I really took the time to play video games on a console. Anyway I am looking to get started with a cheap game hopefully $20 or less and then move on after I get tired of it. Right now I am looking at Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resistance 2. Between the two of them, which should I get for better replay value and gameplay? I am also interested in online multiplayer. thanksSilos911
I don't even know if people play Metal Gear online anymore, however the above poster made it sound like people still play it.It depends what you want from the game. First of all if you want story, I don't think you'd really want either of these, but Resistance 2 would be better. The Metal Gear Solid 4 story will make no sense to you if you haven't played the original 3 games. If you don't really care about the story, then Metal Gear Solid 4 is the greatest value. The story is lengthy, and really good, and apparantly the multiplayer is a lot of fun.
So long story short, Metal Gear Solid 4
Yes the multiplayer is still active. Last time I was on it was averaging between 2000 and 5000 people playing everyday.
