Awesome Hype Thread! Cannot wait for this one. I'm gonna guess AAA!

[QUOTE="Blabadon"][QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]I mean after Galaxy 2 you can't go anywhere but down to be quite honest. BrunoBRSThey already did that with Super Mario 3D Land, now they can only go up unless they pull a sunshine. sunshine > 64.
Agreed, hope they make a Sunshine 2!
I heard there is going to be an open beta soon. I'll try it out, looks interesting.
But the ARPG I'm really waiting for is Grim Dawn :PR4gn4r0k
**** there's that one too, I really need more time in the day.:x
Definitely gonna have to check it out. Love the genre, and D II is one of my all time favorite games. Torchlight II is amazing, and D III was great (and looks like it's getting better with future updates as well). But nothing has quite hit me like D II did, hoping playing more TLII or this game will do it!
They're not intrusive and don't hinder my experience so I don't mind them at all. The principle is the only thing to really consider here.
I hate most tv commercials though, and ads like youtube ads, and on websites where they pop up or expand over what you're trying to do or watch are irritating, thankfully we have adblock.
Make it cross gen like this SW 1313 seems to be so I can play GTA5 on mah new, much more powahfull next gen console - would be a feast for the eyes plus improved game-play as well me thinks. :D

Ok that makes sense now, I thought you were saying they should release it on PS3, so my head hurt for a bit. :P
I don't think they'll do that, a lot of people are wanting to see it on new consoles but they said themselves that now is the perfect time to release it: Link
For them to make it for next generation consoles, they would spend a lot of money and resources getting the engine running vs. making the content and experience they can do now with a fully working engine and systems they are much more familiar with. I'd say at best it would be a port at a higher resolution and framerate, but not much else.
"The fact that hardware's so mature right now is exactly why we're able to go on to the next level. GTA 4 was our first attempt at a new platform and HD visuals, so the first part of development was seriously difficult."
"Now we know what the hardware's capable of, so it's become a lot easier to move things along and a lot more fun, too. GTA: San Andreas came out at the peak of the PlayStation 2's cycle, and we put out a really good game thanks to that."

We might see it get ported, but I severely doubt it. They'll probably just support GTA V with some extra content, maybe add fully detailed versions of San Fierro and Las Venturas, and then work on a new game for next gen.
Also, may I suggest R* do the same with GTA5. :D

Confused by this, GTA V is coming for PS3 and Xbox 360 this year.
Not me, and for these reasons:
GTA 4 was our first attempt at a new platform and HD visuals, so the first part of development was seriously difficult. Now we know what the hardwares capable of, so its become a lot easier to move things along and a lot more fun, too.Houser
GTA: San Andreas came out at the peak of the PlayStation 2s cycle, and we put out a really good game thanks to that. All the best games for a console come out at the end of the lifecycle, right? So nows the best timing of all.Houser

My interest is high, however I don't necessarily plan on picking one up, just really interested in seeing what all this thing will have to offer in terms of games, as well as how well it will do in the market.
I love the idea of streaming my PC games to it though. I like to watch TV with my family sometimes, but I'd also like to be able to play a game, depending on the price this might be a way of doing both without having to drop a lot of money on a whole new system.
I'm highly interested in all new devices though, everything excites me. :P
