[QUOTE="MrKittle"][QUOTE="karasill"][QUOTE="MrKittle"]Aww did I hit a nerve? They are watered down because they don't play as well, plain and simple. They are shorter games, with controls that don't work as well as the console versions. Name me a FPS that plays as well on the PSP as the PS2. Seriously, how can you not see that they are watered down console games? You're playing rehash games that ern't as good. Can you not see that? Its a handheld, do you expect it to play as good as a PS2/PS3? And how are they watered down? They were built specifically for the PSP -the games I mentioned- so what were they watered down from? You keep using the same argument throughout this to thread so I am not going to waste my time. You know how I feel and I know how you feel. The End.

Yeah, you hit a nerve. But what about games like Loco Roco, Patapon(great game by the way), Lumines, Exit, and Tokobot are all original games for the PSP. Portable Ops and Dark Mirror both play great and not to mention there online components are great. How about this, name a DS FPS that works well....without cramping your hand(MPH). And do you even have a PSP? God of War had tight controls as did Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Wipeout, and Ridger Racer. I just like the PSP library more than the DS library.
I mentioned some of those games in a previous post. Also I did have a PSP, I bought one at launch and just recently sold it about one month ago. Honestly I didn't play it that much, mainly because it really was no different then a PS2, just with worse games. Lumines is fun, but it's also on the PS2, Xbox live, etc.. Wipeout Pure was a good game, but like I said how can you not see that you're playing watered down console games? Because you are... :|I am not about to bring my PS2 on a bus and start playing it. I realize some games are ports with a different name but can it not be fun? And why do you keep bringing up the PS2? Isnt this about the PSP vs. DS? not PSP vs. DS and PS2? I don't get it.

[QUOTE="MrKittle"][QUOTE="karasill"][QUOTE="MrKittle"]Well when the DS is selling much better then the PSP and typically has better games, it's hard to argue against that, huh?[QUOTE="karasill"][QUOTE="Tnasty11"] so everyone bashing the psp because it's alot of ports but EVERY gaming platforms has alot of portskarasill
The DS hasnt had good games since Mario Kart and Hunters. Phantom Hourglass was ok but I think the PSP has much better games than the DS. God of War,Socom, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear, Patapon, and MLB The Show are all great games that I enjoyed much more than Hunters, Mario Kart, NSMB, Brain Age, and Hourglass.
If you like PS2 ports then okay. I mean, why do you by a handheld to play watered down console games? The DS has some truly original and creative games. The ones I can think of on the PSP are lumines, Loco Roco, and EXIT.Not one game I mentioned was a port......:|
I'm sorry, games that play very much like their console counterpart but not quite as good. God of War on the PSP is not as good as God of War on the PS2, same goes for all the other games you mentioned. I'll rephrase it.... If you like playing watered down console games on the go then okay, more power to you.Its a handheld, do you expect it to play as good as a PS2/PS3? And how are they watered down? They were built specifically for the PSP -the games I mentioned- so what were they watered down from? You keep using the same argument throughout this to thread so I am not going to waste my time.
