Yea, i have no problem getting an older game, i believe i tried the demo if Vampires: the masquerade on steam but not 100% sure. I tried Oblivion on my buddy's ps3 and i liked it. Any other suggestions might get more than one if it's cheap enough.

[QUOTE="Luncbox1"][QUOTE="Toriko42"][QUOTE="Luncbox1"]lol, you slacked off in grade 9 and you're not happy with a 90% average :P Anyways, I'm in 1st year engineering and I'm hoping to get into the Geomatics specialty next year.

4.0 is 90% 3.6 is about 85% I hope to get into the movie, television, or music business from the corporate side of things.

... what? Isn't GPA just a percentage out of 4? If not, please fill me in :P

It's different for every school i believe, my university is out of 4.3.

I've lived in Toronto for 18 years, right now im living in montreal for uni. Anyways Toronto is a great place, many different languages/cultures/ people. Having two languages under your belt isn't a must but it will certainly help you get a higher paying job assuming that you will actually have to use that language while employed.

There's a great bar/music scene in Toronto, only problem is drinking age is 19. Not the end of the world as by the time second semester rolls around you should be 19 and quite honestly ive never been carted for alcohol, and im not the oldest person around you know what im saying. Plus you'll be around many different people who will buy you alcohol if that becomes a problem.

there's always something going on within the city. Whether it be sports, party, clubbing, you name it. The city never really dies, there's always something going on. There's the toronto raptors, maple leafs, and blue jays if your a big sports fan, you can always grab a few buddies and head down to the rogers center. There's a few great casinos a little over an hour drive away if you ever get into the gambling mood.

The TTC(Toronto Transit Commision) can get pretty expensive as the service is not subsidized by the government. The subway isn't the greatest in the world but it will get you to where you want to go, plus theres a bus that will take you almost anywhere. There's not to many neighborhoods that i would avoid expect for Jane and Finch, very out of the way areas if your going to be studying downtown. 2 buddies of mine both go to U of T for arts and political science or philosphy cnt remember which1 . They both love it, another 3 buds goes to ryerson also and they love it too.

The weather can get pretty annoying because we experience all 4 seasons. The summer can get very hot around 30-35C in july and winter can be just as bad with -30 to -35 being the lowest. Although ive found montreal's winters much worse then torontos.

I've never been to LA so i won't comment. If you have any more questions just ask, i kinda just wrote a whole bunch of **** and didnt reallty have a gameplan as to what i was writing/

You said you were 19, assuming your friend is also 19 on top of the six years you have known him, im sure you have some embarrassing stories about him. I know you said that you don't want to fall to his level, but sometimes the best time to teach people a lesson is to beat them at their own game.

I totally understand your position on taking the higher road, i have an uncle who is kinda socially awkward and doesn't know how to relate to people in general and always has to have his way. Anyways whenever i'm having a conversation with him, it's like a constant struggle to not punch him in the face or curse him out for some of the dumb stuff he says in order to prove "HIS POINT" or make him look superior. Have you thought that maybe your friend is just doing that to you because he knows that you will react in the way that you do?

In knowing that my uncle will be a prick and try and to look or feel superior/get attention, you adapt and don't give him what he wants. Ex: Your friend knows that you will over-react or act in the way you do and therefore knows that he can extort you/ embarrass/ just be a prick in general. So just ignore him, don't give him want he wants, if he talks to you in msn/facebook whatever, just ignore him. The one thing that type of person is looking for is attention, and by not giving it to him, he will realize that he can't fu ck with you as long as you don't show you care or react in the way that they are expecting.

Edit: Sorry i wasn;t very clear, in summary: your friend likes attention, don't give it to him. Just cut him off until he stops acting like a douchebag Hope that helps.

I would be lying to you guys if i said i didn't want to go back and change past mistakes or handle situations better. However, that being said without the events and mistakes I've made, I wouldn't be the person that i am today. Without the knowledge or feeling of failure or regret you can't learn from your mistakes and therefore only regress instead of progress and become something more and better.

That being said, positive events in our lives also shape and mold us into the individuals that we grow into, and a lot of positive events and things in my life have also contributed to who I am and like i said before the events of our past is what makes our present and future something to look forward to. In most situations that is.

[QUOTE="Anti-Venom"][QUOTE="Ace_WondersX"]

But a lot of MCs from the south are considered legends, 8 Ball and MJG, Bun B, Scarface and the Geto Boys. And right now if I was to name the best MCs under 30 Chamillionaire is on the list.

Ace_WondersX

Theres only a handfull of emcees that are considered "legends" from the South...but no where near legends from the West/East.....thats a no brainer..

I think the south might beat out the west or be equal to the west.

West: Dr. Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube, Tupac, Eazy-E, N.W.A as a group

South: OutKast, The Geto Boys, U.G.K, 8 Ball and MJG, and should count Scarface separate just from his solo career

also DJ Premier is from the South, dudes tend to think he's from the East Coast just cause he works with a lot of them.

EDIT: Eazy should even be counted considering Cube and Ren wrote all his stuff.

I'm not sure who would win between West VS South, however the East has alot too. Biggie, D-Block, DMX, Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas just to name a few.

In my opinion:

Beats: West > South> East

Message: East=West > South

Flow: South > West > East (not sure about this, they all have their greats, its hard to decide)

The more i think about it though, the more i can't make up my mind on who is better. I have favorites from every area which doesn't make sense for me to compare to each other and prove who is better. In conclusion, there all great and each individual artist each brings something special and unique and therefore can't be compared.

[QUOTE="MrPuffa777"]I recommend: East Coast: Gangstarr, KRS-One, Big Pun, D-Block/L.O.X, Maino, Hell Rell, Memphis Bleek West Coast + South: Alfamega, Sean P( of youngbloods), Trae the truth, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Big Pokey, Lil Keke, UGK( Pimp C & Bun B), That's all i can think of from the top of my head. Ace_WondersX

I co-sign everybody there except Alfamega.

Are you a fellow Houstonian?

Anyway check the sig, AZ, most underrated mc ever.

Nah, i'm from toronto, canada, im just a fan of the south. Alfamega has put up some good remix verses and singles, not quite mainstream which is what the TC is looking for. The East had the title back in the 80's, West got it in the 90's and 2000's are the South in my opinion. you have a lot to look forward to this year, Chamillionaire's venom, Slim thug boss of all bosses, i'm not 100 % sure but i think Big Pokey and Lil keke are also dropping albums this year. It should be a good year for the south :D
