It's ORANGE!!!

Woohoo!!! I got The Orange Box!!! Already beat Portal, now I can't wait to finish Half-Life 2: Episode 2. Then I'll get started making my name known in Team Fortress 2...

On a side note, I finished Quake 2. I like that part at the end where stuff blows up all pretty.

On another side note, I think that this blog will have to turn random really soon, so I better start now. So...who likes pie? And what kind of pie do you like?

Curse of Quake II

This is really weird, but ever since I started playing Quake II, my little meter that shows how much longer I have 'till my next GS level has been stuck on 80%. Coincidentally, my current level is Level 8: Quad Damage. Quad Damage. Quake. That game is cursed...I should never have tried to run it on a Mac. IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE!!!!!

Strogg Splodin'

So...I tried out the Quake Wars demo, and now I'm all hyped about the game's release. Only a few more days to go, people!! I can hardly wait! To help me through these hard times of waiting, I've been playing through the Quake series again, gettin' myself ready. So far I'm in the process of going through Quake II. After that it's on to...more Quake II. Cause that's the only one I have. I've been wanting to get Quake 4, but I need your opinions on it. So if you've played the game, tell me what you think, so that I can know a little more of what to expect. I don't want to spend $20 on a game and instead get a small box of dissapointment, so I need to know what you think of the game. Get to it!

On an unrelated note, math sucks. Yes, math. Sucks.

That is all.

Awesome?

Remeber a little while ago when I said ArchLord was awesome? Well, it maybe awesome for some people, but I do not consider crashing every half hour awesome. Therefore, I change my status on the awesomeness of the game. Now it has gone from a 7 to a 5.2 on my patented Awesome-O-Meter (TM). Enemy Territory still rocks, though.

Silent Assassin or Super Spy?

I've been a fan of stealth games for a while now, ever since I was introduced to Hitman: Codename 47. In fact, some of you may have noticed that I'm a bit Hitman-obsessed. Recently though, I've been playing Splinter Cell, and now I'm starting to question: Hitman or Splinter Cell? Agent 47 or Sam Fisher? Silent Assassin or Super Spy? What do you think? Which one is better? That's right, I need YOUR opinion. Get to it.

Good Games for Cheapskates

Guess what?! Real post this time!

I've been back on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I must say, for a free game, this is by far the best multiplayer game in my collection. I guess that's kinda sad...or it would be, if ET didn't ROCK!!!

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about - like most people I know - Wolfenstein: ET is a free multiplayer only sequel to critically acclaimed Game of the Year Return to Castle Wolfenstein, sequel to Wolfenstein 3D. You know...before DooM. It was orignally going to be an expansion pack, but was then released as a free standalone multiplayer-only first person shooter. That was a mouthful. Almost as bad as mass-multiplayer online role playing game. Speaking of which, I have been playing another awesome free game: Archlord.

It wasn't very good when you had to pay for it, but now that it's free...it's actually a good game. If you want to be an orc without paying for WoW, this is a good substitute. Two shining examples that free games aren't all terrible.
