if words can enrage you that bad, there's something mentally wrong with you.

GabuEx

And if that's the case, what do you expect to change by saying so?

Every human being will run into nasty, unsavory characters over the course of their lives. The rational response is stop complaining and deal with it, because that's life.

I just keep to my self.

[QUOTE="Mr_ToastMan"]ok but offended to the point of violence?GabuEx

If someone is a violent person, what exactly do you propose to do about it? Of course it'd be better both for them and others if they aren't, but they are. And it'd be great if you could do something to make them not be that way, but good luck there.

The only rational thing is either to avoid invoking the person's wrath, to accept that the person will react violently and take it when it happens, or to cut off contact with the person. Like I said, the only person whose actions you can control is yours. Complaining about the way other people act solves absolutely nothing.

[QUOTE="Mr_ToastMan"]

lets say you do say something offensive, and offend some guy, so he beats you to a bloody pulp, who's at fault?

GabuEx

If you knew that it was a touchy subject and knew with certainty that the person would react in that way, you're ultimately at fault, really. The only person's actions and temperment that you can control are yours. Like I said, one of the fundamental tenets of good human relations is relating to people on their terms as opposed to your own. That doesn't mean that you don't have the right to still go ahead with whatever it is, but it equally means you don't have the right not to have consequences to your actions.

Bottom line: if you do something that you know will bring about problems for yourself, and then those problems come to pass, you have no real standing to complain about it.

what your saying makes sense to me, but i really think, this day in age we should be able to say whatever, and not offend anyone, i know it's not like that, but you could say anything to me, i might feel bad at some of it but im not going to attack somone, ever.

EDIT: not offend to the point of violence.

No offense, but I find it a little ironic when you ask why people don't get freedom of speech and then make a post that seems to indicate that you don't get freedom of speech either. :P

Freedom of speech means that the government cannot imprison you, fine you, or otherwise punish you for expressing something. It does not mean that you can express whatever you want without any consequences. As the saying goes, your right to swing your fists ends at another man's nose.

You're better off putting money into something else rather than 4 gigs of ram.duxup

like a massage chair, try sitting in one of those.

I think that DDR2 memory is limited to 1GB modules if i'm not mistaken, so for DDR2 the limit is 4GB (1GB x 4 slots = 4GB). It might be 2GB though i'm not sure (which would be 8GB).

The new DDR3 will support higher GB per module though.

crazy-player

You can get DDR2 modules with 2 gbs of memory. And they're cheap as pie. :o

Oh, I love pie.

I like the poon tang flavor best.

I'm not sure what freedom of speech is suppose to mean but your definitely not allowed to say what ever you want, gamespot forums is one good example of that.
