To answer this thread's question.....It will not be coming until at least after Thanksgiving.

The public preview program (which i have been accepted to) has not even started yet, and there has to be at least 2 weeks of testing period.

And no kids, the program is not accepting anyone else new.

How do pictures look with the new background?

Not themes but pictures I put up like personal photos or online photos.

You can solve your own problems by playing with a group you know who talk. Try going to a BF3 message board and recruit or just add people in random matches you like.

Besides mics on random people =/= better game. Some people are asses, some people complain cause anyone (Team member or not) took a vehicle/weapon, or let's not forget the random 10yo who insults every race on the planet.

Xbox live is awesome but the community is like 20% A-holes. So just stick with people you know.

I think M$ made some of the old white ones with a HDMI port on them so check if you have it.

It's that smaller port on the bottom of where you plug in your other cables.

As far as I know it will play all the Xbox original games the old 360 did. Maybe you still need a new update but not sure on that.

The cable works the same as before with nothing you really need to do different. I don't think you can go from 360S to the old 360 though.

$20 is a rip off for something you're going to use only once so what I recommend is just transfer all saves, gamer profile, and any media that will fit on a memory card or USB drive and move it that way. For stuff to big like full games or DLC then just redownload them on your new console. This method takes longer but saved me $20 when I got myself a new console.

Everyone said it was coming out around October but we're almost to Halloween now. Anyone heard any new news on it's release?

I'm thinking if games came stored on a usb drive it would save us from having to change disc every time and could save the disc drive from over use and I know we can copy the game to the HDD but still less disc swapping if we can just switch out usbs and less space taken on the HDD.

I'm just seeing it as all your games on different usb devices that can't be moved, deleted, and nothing else can be stored on them. I don't know if that's possible but still it would be nice.

But I still want a disc option for those who don't want this so no feels like they're forced to do it.

Tips:

1. Don't throw mic when angry.

2. Unplug mic from controller when throwing controller. (See another topic on why your controllers always break)

3. Don't chew on mic.

4. Say it don't spray it into mic.

5. The floor is not a recommended storage space for mic.

6. Kids and pets + access to mic = broken mic.

7. When unplugging mic don't pull on wire instead grab it from the base.

8. Don't over charge your wireless mic or charge it to often.

9. Take better care of your ****.

I hope we can still use photos as backgrounds and some themes willstill work.

When the NXE dashboard came out I stopped paying for themes and now just use photos I find online.

Even though that $4 dollar Halo theme looks nice I'd rather save my money and use pictures of Stacy Keibler.

Your complaints are drowned out by the millions of people throwing money at Xbox Live.

I wish it were free but sadly it's not and wont beuntil Sony or Nintendo move into #1 and then they'll start charging for it.

Me I don't care about ESPN3, facebook, or any added service I just care about games.

Maybe what they could do is have gold and gold+.

Gold is just gaming and only gaming related. Gold+ would be all that additional stuff most people don't use.

But if that ever happened gold would still cost the same and gold+ would be another $20 yearly.

Playing on Veteran and no infinite ammo or Gatling gun or bow.

And if it's possible delete your save to start a fresh run with no upgrades or unlocked weapons.
