I love the idea of the next game being unrelated to the whole reapers and protheans primary storyline that was followed for the series. But I'm not too crazy about following a specific character such as Garrus or Aria in a spin off, because we already know what happens to those characters. Mass Effect has always been about giving you choice, and I really don't see Aria ever making choosing the Paragon option in conversation.
This game looks like its going to be what I was hoping conviction would be. Conviction wasn't bad but this is bringing back all the many gadgets and giving you more stealth options it looks like, going to be awesome. Super pissed about ironside not doing the voice, but the awesomeness that looks to be this game can make up for that some
Some of my more memorable gaming experiences are with female leads. Obviously the new Tomb Raider can be a good example, but does anyone remember Perfect Dark? Sure the sequel sucked on the 360 but the original on the N64 took up like 90 percent of all my time for years when it came out. I was only like 10 years old when it released and guess what: I didn't give a hoot that the lead was female!
@ACWH @MudPie210 Lmao - I knew I missed something! If those developers really wanted to help with my immersion they definitely should have included a variety of positions to choose from on that ending scene
Lmao - well this guys comments just confirmed that those rumors aren't actually rumors if it managed to get him so bent out of shape. We need to ask this guy of the rumors of backwards compatibility and blocked used games as well to see if he spills the beans on those as well.
@Cloud418 Why? Because this series is !@#$ing awesome. More hours of content can only be a good thing. I'm glad I dont live my life with so much pessimism. The ending I saw coming from the very first game. Shepard had to die, it was the ultimate sacrifice, which is what the series has always been about. It couldn't have ended any other way and it was incredible.
@dbene agreed. Things are still going to become subtly clearer and higher resolution, but the level of graphics itself seems to be leveling off. Its now going to simply come down to resolution and how many items/props can be onscreen at one time. Games aren't necessarily going to be visibly better, but are likely going to become much bigger in scope than they could before with all the available power behind the new systems.
cant remember the last time a game had the ability for four player splitscreen. I am soooo looking forward to this. Just like the good ol days on my n64
