They will announce plans for PC a long ways after launch when they are prepared to ramp up the graphics even further, same as GTA5. Fans who want this for PC might be inclined to wait if they knew it was on the horizon, but not knowing, will pick up the console version based off the best information available at the time. Then everyone buys another PC copy 1.5 years later with improved graphics.

It probably did receive too much criticism, but hey, they set the bar very high for themselves. That said, I thought it was a good game even before the animation patches, though it definitely needed them. I feel like every other department involved in making it did their best and you can feel the love put into the game, but as a whole, that feeling of the Mass Effect universe, the depth of characters, and epic nature of your quest just fell flat.

Relax everybody, this is a single player game. "Everything a player can buy with Gold can also be earned in the game over time for free, but Gold gives players the option to acquire these items faster." People are welcome to pay more for a shorter game experience if they want to. This isn't my problem, and it shouldn't be your problem either. It's not like you weren't going to put 80 hours into this anyways.

If the trope ain't broke, don't fix it.

You don't cross-play FPS games, everyone knows that for the obvious reasons above. We need more cross-play in most other genres tho.
