I usually prefer the wired controlers. The major problem that I have with the wireless controlers are that they are sometimes unresponsive and make movement clunky. I suspose that if you get a good brand that this won't be a problem.
Madden is a great game, but the most boring game for the XBox would have to be Manhunt. It was pointless and didn't really make much sence. I gave up on it after a few hours.
