Wow, you make a lot of topics about this game. I have not played it yet but I have heard of a lot of bugs. I know they are releasing patches but that doesn't cut it for me. When devs put that much money into a game they should do everything they can to make it as smooth as possible. There is simply no excuse for a game freezing, and a few bugs are excusable but not nearly as many as I've seen on Youtube. No game should be released in that condition and just patched after the fact, that is cheap and sloppy. I'll wait for the goty edition and hopefully all the major problems will be fixed by then.INF1DELYou're seriously going to wait for a GotY edition? You have a long time to wait then. If they even release a GotY version at all. Me, I haven't experienced any bugs so I'm finding the game to be much better than Fallout 3. Better story & characters, more depth, more to do, more locations, gambling, Fisto and more choices. So yeah I've been playing it almost none stop since I bought it last week.
Oops completely forgot that he directed 6th Sense and Unbreakable. In order of preference:
- 6th Sense.
- Unbreakable.
- Signs
- The Village.
Haven't seen any of his other films.
Not everyone has had the same experience though. I have over 12 hours on one playthrough and the only problem I've experienced is one crash. That is it. Why is it that some people consider the game garbage (which it isn't) and others are loving the game. Now I don't know if this is relevant but when I play the game I'm not connected to XBL (to save bandwidth) so maybe that has something to do with it?I own about 85 xbox 360 games and New Vegas is the only game that constantly crashes on me at 15 minutes play time tops (and that's happened about 25 times before I just decided the disc was a coaster). The 360 I was using it on is a brand new 250 gig one and it's the only game I've had any problems with on this system. I'm surprised at how many people really don't get that the game is very very buggy for a whole lot of people. Me personally, I've talked to about 5 friends who all have varying degrees of bugginess with the game as well. But even the least of the issues of any of my friends are random freezes.
I'll throw in that I've solved Fallout 3 and played/solved 4 expansions with a total of about 4 bugs/glitches experianced at all. All of them were the same place in one of the expansions or a messed up polygon in a monster.
New Vegas for me is honestly the worst game experiance i've ever had dating back to pong.

It's not a smaller world. There are 400 locations to visit, compared to Fallout 3's 160 (I think). There is also more to do: much more quests and of course gambling! Have you even played it?really? i didnt even finish it because it was so buggy and glitchy, almost everytime i fast traveled there would be people floating in mid air, a lot of the time i would do something that should have made the people start attacking me (like freeing the prisoner's from the fiend's) but i opened the gates, they started sneaking out, all with 3 fiends watching me and never lifted a finger against me. also i didnt think it was as good as fallout 3, smaller world with less to do and a lot more boring.

I'm surprised it has glitches, it shouldn'tpiranha_incIt's such massive game, it's not going to be perfect. But of course when everyone is expecting it to be then the forums explode with gamers complaining. If their hopes weren't so high, they wouldn't take some bugs and glitches so personally.
Yeah... Keep telling yourself that.I hated oblivion. Talk about PS1 Graphics.
