this is th buggiest software i have ever played coupled with complete morons for tech support is exactly why consoles are reigning supreme. it takes me a good hour to start the game everytime they patch nd when i do get in it sooo slow and no one knows what to do and yes i have a high end pc with high speed internet, so blizzard has ended pc gaming for me as i will never deal with this issue ever again

I don't think the problem is so much with SWtOR, but with the genre. It's been driven into the ground with a long series of games that are almost identical.

Everyone's who has a big budget has been trying to remake WoW over the last few years, with a little twist of some sort, and it's ended up making the whole genre into one big lump of 'been there, done that'. It's the same thing that's happened with movies. The summer blockbusters are all the same thing with slightly different visuals, because the movie studios don't want to take risks with a big budget, and prefer to just make a copy of what worked last year.

Alright so I won a laptop today for a drawing I was signed up for and though I never considered PC gaming before (always game with a PS3), having a laptop be simply plopped on my plate has got me thinking. Problem is, I know nothing about PC gaming, hell I know little about laptops themselves. All I know is I won a 15" Lenovo ideapad (if that makes any sense) that has Windows 7 installed, 4.00 GB of RAM, a 64 bit operating system, and the processor is a AMD A6-3420 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.50 GHz. This is information I took directly from the system properties window and really can't make any sense of it (I'm not a tech guy). Can this thing run SWTOR smoothly? Any help is appreciated!

I have 3 guest passes that came with the game, But none seem to work when you try to download the client it says i'm not the the region, So i checked the region at the bottom of the page it says US. region thats where i'm at lol.

Anybody got any ideals?

What ever you do don't tell blizz you were hacked, they will indefinitely suspend your account. This happened to my friend, now he can't play.

0/10. untested end game content that gets reached within a week even with massive server downtime. if 1/4 of the content which is also where 50% of the replay value or more is situated is untested when the game is release, the game is unfinished. unfinished product should not be release, and unreleased product should not have a rating yet. all unfinished production thats release should be an automatic 0 until it is actually.. finished...(aka inferno patched to hell and back and then some more)arcanusshadow

11k signatures and rising. This deserves some attention from GameSpot too: Korean FTC authorities raided Blizzard offices due to the massive number of complains in Korea, and EU players are rising up as well. The last 2 days of failed logins are making sure EU is joining the bandwagon.

Make no mistake: in the viral marketing age, numbers DO make a difference.

Blizzard should be held accountable for the incompetent service that is being provided.
