@PCgameruk: you are not getting an fps boost by supersampling down to 1080p. You are only getting an image boost and the system is under the same strain it would be in were it feed a 4k display natively (or 1440p in the pros case).
At this point wait for a price cut. I bought the slim instead of pro and don't regret it one bit. Pro doesn't really offer much value to me at 350 ir 400$
@scatteh316: that is true. It's like telling an artist to paint a portrait. Two separate job. You (the cpu) say hey paint this portrait. The artist (the gpu) then paints it. Whether he uses water based paint, oil based paint, crayons (these are different resolutions) doesn't affect the job of you telling him to paint the portrait. So let's say you have a stuttering problem (cpu bottleneck) whether he draws with oil based paint or a pencil (low vs high resolution) won't change the fact that he has to wait for you to get your words out before he can draw.
