Keep in mind that x1x will be checkerboarding from 1800p while the pro will be checkerboarding from 1440p in similar games. No matter how you slice it image quality is going to be better on x1x even if both consoles are checkerboarding. 900p vs 720p all over again

X1X not being 100% 4k definitely knocks it down a peg but at the end of the day its still an amazing deal if you want high res gaming on the cheap and will hit the native 4k benchmark more often than the competition
