Got mine in April 2002 in the U.S. I can't even begin to image how many hours it has been used, but it's still in great shape and never needed any repairs.

Sorry dude...you can't fix a burnt out pixel. You either have to suck it up or get a new TV.

All I'm going to say is I'm glad I didn't listen to the industry when they said "there'll be enough for everyone." I waited in-line for six hours in 30 degrees to pre-order the system, and was worth every moment on that line and every dollar I spent.

While hard to get, I wouldn't call it a ahortage on Nintendo's part. They have been crusing to get these things to retailers non-stop. I mean, come on...at least four million worldwide in five months is pretty impressive. It's just that EVERYONE wants the Wii, and they are being bought up as soon as they hit the stores. I'm still hearing of lines for the system when people learn there is a shippment coming in.

We've all been seeing and hearing news of Final Fantasy remakes for various handheld and colsole systems, including today news of Final Fantasy I and II for the PSP. But where is Final Fantasy VII!?!?!? Time that Square heard what the public wants. What do you have to say?

Hard decision between FFX and FFXII, but I would have to say FFX. While I like the new battle system, the story line and everything in FFXII, I though FFX was a little better.

Classic game: Plutonium Boss in Master Blaster - With no saves, five continues and three men per continue for one of the most dificult games in the NES arsenal, that was a great battle. That is, unless you only had one guy left with no continues and died at the end. Most frustrating day of my life!

Sephinroth from FFVII - By far he best boss battle ever because of how you are set-up throught the entire game for the final showdown with him. I mean, come on, who didn't want to fight him right after he killer Aeris, and that about a third of the way through the game!

The Elder God from Legacy of Kain: Defiance - After playing the first two Soul Reavers and getting the "to be continued endings," that boss battle was extremely satisfying just to get the conclusion to everything.

Reserved mine before launch and got it on launch day. Check out when the stores get their delivery trucks in. They usually have a set schedule of two or three times a week, before they open. Take Gamespot and EB Games for instance: they get the first delivery of the week on late Monday night, early Tuesday morning.

With millions wanting the system and only about 8-10 hitting a store every two weeks, fact here is that you have to work to get a Wii right now. I got my Wii on launch day after some hard work to get one reserved. Was in line at the local Gamespot to reserve one, with no avail...I was too far back. Two weeks later I got to Toys r' Us and stood in -30 degree weather for six hours just for the reservation. I was once again a little far back in the line. But after talking with the store manager for a while, and offering some coffee and food since he had to stay outside with us, he guarenteed I'd have one. True to his word he slipped me the reservation ticket within the game reservations I also asked for. Picked it up late afternoon on launch day and was asked by no less than five people from the register to the car if I wanted to sell it.

Point is if you want it, don't just call the place and ask "got Wii's" like everyone else. Unless you know someone, they aren't going to tell you because they aren't 100 percent sure. Look around and use your head...when do you see delivery trucks at these stores? Most retailers have a set schedule when truck deliveries come in. Take Gamespot and EB games for instance, first delivery of the week is usually late Monday night/early Tuesday morning before they open. So that would mean Tuesday morning is a good time to check. Also, don't be that consumer who walks in and says "got a Wii...why not?" You know why not...don't be stupid and annoying. They're just going to say no to get you out of their hair because they see you're stupid. Talk with the person a little bit, get a little trust going and then pop the 'I didn't see any Wii's on the case. Are there any available?" You might get the answer you're looking for.
