But the thing about the damage model in those games is that the damage isn't dynamic; you can only break your car a set way, no different. A game I like that has good damge is GTA 4, the damage is dynamic and the cars look pretty good when smashed, but other than that, GTA's isn't that great either because sometimes it gets too unrealistic.
I'll provide an example here: I've heard what a real 458 Italia sounds like, the one in GT5 sounds nothing like it; it sounds like it's sucking up dirt. Almost all the cars sound like this, some being lower pitched and others being higher pitched. You can't possibly hear GT5 car sounds and believe they're the real deal, or even remotely close.
I've got both GT5 and Forza 4, GT sure didn't win that one. GT5 is boring, has hardly any car customization, you can't upgrade the car much at all (and even if you do, the horsepower doesn't go up a lot; I mean come on, a fully tuned Supra has 350 horsepower), there's less quality cars, the "quality" cars are boring, and the cars sound like vacuum cleaners. Forza is fun and gives a better racing experience.
