Using the zapper for RE4 would make the game much more difficult and it would really limit your experience becuase of the inability to move the wiimote and nunchuck freely and inability to easily reach the 'A' button.
So I would say no it is not worth buying the zapper for RE4.
Are you a fan of the Zelda franchise? because the zapper has a packed in zelda shooting game, though I feel it is way too short too warant a zapper purchase.
I don't think devs are taking wii to it's full graphical potential. I think the only way to really think about how much better wii graphics could be is to look at the gamecube. While wii and gamecube can't really be compared exactly since Nintendo never realeased exact specifications, they have stated that wii is roughly twice as powerful as the gamecube.
To me a game which took gamecube graphics to their full potential... was, Resident Evil 4.
RE4 even looked better on gamecube than on PS2
many games that are multiplatform this cycle have been ported for both ps2 and wii, when wii should be getting games that are twice as powerful as at least ps2 and preferebly graphics that visualy are twice the quality of RE4.
I'm a lefty, however I'm an ambidextrous guitar player myself... Have the rest of you seen a gh3 guitar ...
as you can see if you play it left handed the whammy bar is in the wrong spot and its easier to accidentally hit buttons.
If a left handed guitar is made there will be no reason to have a left handed setting in the in game menus. So, anyway.. I don't know if lefty guitars arebeing made... probably 3rd party or special order.
Newer technology is getting cheeper and cheeper. I just priced out an 80gb flash hard drive that is the size of the larger video ipods (still very small for a hdd) and only cost $80.
Nintendo needs to talk to makers of hard drives though. Another new technology that is out there but seems expensive because usually the hard drives are very large are network drives. Those are hard drives that connect either with ethernet chord or can connect wirelessly, and you don't lose internet connectivity.
I like the stand idea, just wanted to throw out some more options for people to think about.
Battallion wars2 is a game being made by a nintendo dev. However I think it looks quite good.
I think RE:UC will be good when it comes out.
As weird as it seems I think Devs are still figuring out how to optimize games for the wii. Also a lot of Devs are still developing for a younger crowd since that is the way that the GC skewed.
Nintendo deffinately has an advantage as far as developing games because they have exact specifications about how the Wii hardware can be optimized. Thirt party devs will get there eventually.
