I been with my girlfriend for almost a year now and she is about to get her own place and wants me to move in with her in an apartment. My problem is that I'm perfectly happy living with my brothers in a nice house. She also wants me to be the new step dad to her son and also wants us to get married. This has been stressing me out badly. I wasn't expecting any of this until at least a couple more years down the road. We both are in our early 20s and I feel that its not the right time. I told her to slow this process down but she is very stubborn and want to move forward quickly in this relationship. She now wants me to put most of my money into this apartment fiasco.

I'm very stressed...

Sit her down and tell her that she and you are in 2 totally different places in life and you aren't ready to move as fast as her. Then break up and find a girl without a kid.

[QUOTE="BossPerson"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"]

depends where.

in the US, I suppose he is on the left, in Europe, he would be a liberal.

white_wolf922

Liberal? With regards to what? He was on the extreme right.

I could be wrong, but doesn't liberal mean right-wing in Europe? I've always heard in Europe "liberal" meant something similar to what "libertarian" means in the U.S. Ironically enough libertarian means anarchist-socialist in Europe, I think. At least that was the word's original meaning.

Whoever is educatiing you, tell them to stop it.

the spectrum is as such

Radical - Liberal - Moderate - Conservative - Reactionary

And it changes from country to country. What is considered liberal in america is moderate in most of Europe.

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Victorious_Fize"]Eh? I don't think Arabs are racist at all, if there's any level of discremantion that can be observed, it'd be in GCC countries. But that's more on nationality than actual race/ethnicity. South Asians gets the worst of it (in KSA, it's especially true for Bengali) because they hold organized crime over here (drugs, prostitution, etc), nobody likes that. Besides, what's with people butting in (no offense to you, this is your first time, but I got it like 7-10 times already) when I'm talking to another Arab about local politics?Victorious_Fize
I wasn't talking about Arabs in general but the two of you. As for what you call butting in.....PMs are great for private conversations.

Ehhh? Now I'm more confused LJ. I am not racist. o.O I may have disagreements with people, but that's never a reason to hate them or anybody. It's just what it is and I really don't give a damn to think otherwise. You're right about PMs, but this topic opened and discuss it, and there's nothing to be really secretive about, so why not here?

So why are you whining about someone joining your PUBLIC conversation?

[QUOTE="clyde46"]Nevermind, didnt watch the video. You can own in this country except there are strict regulations that you must adire to. Given whats just happened in Mancester.RationalAtheist

You can't own a hand-gun (except for muzzle-loading historical firearms). Thank goodness for gun laws too - the UK has one of the lowest firearms murder rates in the world:

In England & Wales in 2009 there were 0.073 recorded intentional homicides committed with a firearm per 100,000 inhabitants; for comparison, the figure for the United States was 3.0, about 40 times higher, and for Germany 0.2

Source

Yeah but in the UK you guys make up for your shooting deaths with stabbing deaths.

getting a 2nd 6870 would be the cheapest and quickest solution. Some things will perform way better and some things will perform the same.
