If your docter said "I don't believe in sex, I like the stork theory." or your geograhy professor said "The earth is flat, there's no evidence of a round earth." you'd be upset. There are people in positions of power enforcing false ideas into children. I value education, progress, and truth....I don't repsect someone's beliefs just because they are beliefs. On that note, I'm optimisitic in the fact that secularism and non-religious assosation is on the rise and that these silly ancient beliefs are dying rapidly in the western world. More and more people are calling out teachers and politicians who spew bronze age myths and use it as a justification for new laws or actions

the difference is that there is plenty of evidence that the earth isnt flat, its no longer a theory, its a fact. evolution is a theory. you are just an intolerant, you are no better than religious fanatics.

Theory: It doesn't mean what you think it means in the science world. I think you should check up on it.

Another case of an ignorant person mistaking theory with hypothesis.

I really could use some outside encouragement/ advice with something. I'm so frustrated :? What do I do??

So here's my story.

I take a train to get to work every day. A YEAR ago at the train station I noticed a girl who I found very attractive. After a couple weeks it became OBVIOUS that she wanted to talk to me too. How do I know? She was giving me eye contact, moving to stand near me, getting on the train at the exact spot I was getting on, picking a seat where it would be easy for me to sit with her. I also know because when I didn't sit with her she looked at me like "REALLY????" And another time she walked off very annoyed.

So why didn't I talk to her? The problem was I was in an "on and off relationship" with someone else. So I felt that it would not be right at that time to talk to her.

Now I am totally available for a new relationship. And I noticed that she started giving me "chances" again doing the same sort of things as before. I REALLY want to get to know this girl. But now the pressure has built for so long that I balked at every chance I had the last 2 weeks!!!!!! She is going to hate me if she doesn't already...

I know the obvious answer. Say Hi. Ask her name. But I have this overwhelming terror from a YEAR of pressure building.

Any advice? Please help!

Once you start talking to her, the pressure will disappear. (assuming you are ok talking to females all other times)

[QUOTE="Ace6301"][QUOTE="DevilMightCry"] Finding a very very small number of examples in terms of percentage does not make it "natural". Also engaging in homesexual/lesbian intercourse does not make someone a homosexual/lesbian.AdamPA1006

I find it kind of ironic when people use "it's not natural" as an excuse for something while using a computer to talk to people several thousand kilometers away. I mean it sounds like something a hippie would say "It's not natural, maaaaan" while discussing one of those newfangled combustible automogos.

So its "natural". People claim to be born with sexual attraction to kids, animals, and their brothers/sisters. Just because you believe its "natural" and they were "born that way" doesnt mean society has to accept it, endorse it, or promote it. There is incest in nature.

there is also cannibalism and constant murder in nature

The point is you can't say something bad because it is unnatural.

[QUOTE="SteveTabernacle"][QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"] I still believe homosexuality isn't natural DevilMightCry
Factually incorrect, homosexual behavior is found all throughout nature.

Finding a very very small number of examples in terms of percentage does not make it "natural". Also engaging in homesexual/lesbian intercourse does not make someone a homosexual/lesbian.

Humans are part of nature.

Anything that humans do is natural.

Humans do homosexual things.

Therefore homosexuality is natural.

Also if you don't like unnatural things get off your computer.

My reaction:

What the fvck am i doing outside?

Kevlar101

 Anyway, 1 of 2 things would happen: 1: I would get a b*ner and go to the nearest public bathroom to take care of it. 2: OR, I would stop her and ask her why she did it, then I would ask what her name is and then carry a conversation......

[QUOTE="nintendogamer6"]

OK so long story short my computer seems to be in the process of dying

Now, I was wondering if there was a way to transfer programs such a word and Norton (stuff I have to pay for) to my external hard drive and them move them from my external hard driveto my new computer?

So i want to move software from My Old Computer>>to>>My External Hard Drive>>to>>My New Computer.

Is this possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

ZombieKiller7

For Word just use OpenOffice, it's free and compatible with MS Office.

For anti-virus use Microsoft Security Essentials, it's better than Norton and free.

Best of luck mate
