Still on a 256-bit interface? AMD should have jacked it up to 512-bit.

desertpython

there arent that many cards with a 256-bit and NO cards with a 512-bit.

Virtually all mid to high end cards have a 256-bit bus and that will eventually become a bottleneck.

There used to be 512 bit memory interface cards all over, but memory got faster, and it was cheaper to go with a 256 bit bus and faster memory.

If memory continues to get faster, the width of the interface doesn't matter that much.

1920x1200 is the superior resolution, but they are much rarer than the 1920x1080 resolution monitors which actually are 1080p.

I would get one if you could, I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009163&cm_re=x233h-_-24-009-163-_-Product

for $159 about a year ago, still works and no problems, but every time I visit my parents, I get sad when I use their 24" IPS LCD w/ 1920x1200 res.

Try turning your speakers down to one full bar (on the pod) and play this song (sorry if you don't like rap, but I don't think I've found anything with more bass than this).

If you don't feel your sub thumping at one bar with this song, then theres something wrong.

HDD manufacturers us base 10 to count up while the OS uses power of 2.

1000 vs 1024 being 1KB

and then the larger you go the more apparent the difference becomes.

Choice 1:

Spend hours tweaking 2 cards, spending 500 dollars or more total after modding them out

Choice 2:

Buy a single card solution

Dont be stupid.

Just get two GTX 460s and you'll spend less, and the performance is more than good enough at 1920x1080

hartsickdiscipl

yes but ill be gaming on on 1920x1200 tho...plus ill have the 900 for the two gpu's plus the psu thats going to powering this thing also i'll be doing benchmarks soon and when i do decide to take the dive and water cool ill be overclocking not only my cpu farther but my gpu's also :)

GTX 460 1gb's are fine for 1920x1200, especially in SLI. They overclock extremely well on air, let alone water cooled. If you get one of the versions that allows you to tweak the voltage, and put water cooling on 2 of them in SLI, you will have an incredible amount of potential.

I have a couple of friends who are huge PC gamers. I notice though, that they us keyboards and mouses that are wired, and not wireless. I also notice that anyone I have every seen who is a huge PC game player or so on, 99% of the time us wired mouse and keyboard instead of wireless. I was just curious why? I have no prefference or anything, it's just something I noticed.

OmegaWeapon9

The best wireless keyboards and mice are still not as responsive as wired.

Also, if you have ever had a mouse/keyboard die during a crucial match/raid/part of the game, you will never ever use wireless again.
