But try playing a game that was made in 81 for example on your PC today :D

Betray might be the wrong word, I couldn't think of anything better.

IMO the PS1 was a poor product, and I just couldn't bring myself to by a PS2 because of the bad taste it left.

You missed out on a lot of good games then.

Well, in the back of my mind I thought I would get a PS3 but it's way overpriced and isn't even fully backwards compatable, so maybe I'll reconsider for PS4 if they get that one right.

There is no console that is perfect!!! There is none!!! What are you waiting for??? Every single Playstation that SONY put out was a hit. If PS1 was so bad how come it beated the N64 and Sega CD???

If PS2 was so bad how come it killed the Dreamcast and beated the Xbox and the Gamecube....come on man!! PS1 and PS2 where great consoles and the PS3 is a great console too!!

The biggest problem was that Sony pushed developers to do a lot of 3D games on a system that couldn't handle 3D very well.

The other big problem is that is started the trend of putting optical discs in console, loading screen FTL.

Well it depends on what model you get and then it doesn't play all the PS2 games. If you want to say it then go ahead.

I have a 20gig model (upgraded to 120gig) and so far it played all my PS2 and PS1 games. There are probably a few low profile PS2 games that won't play on it but I'm sure that SONY will fix that. So far it played everything I had.

Also, only one model won't play PS2 games and that's the 40gig model...the rest does. The 20, the 60 and the 80 plays PS2 games. I'm sure that later on SONY will release a software for the 40gig in order to play PS2 games on it.

I just loved the Playstation 1. I'm still playing PS1 games a lot. Like Tomb Raider 3, Resident Evil 2, Deathtrap Dungeon, Overblood, Jurassic Park The Lost world....just love it.

But lately GTA4 kept me busy:)

According to the NPD, the 360 is still outselling the PS3...

And Multiplats are selling more on 360s then PS3s.

So what's the point of this thread?

Actually, PS3 has been outslling the 360 world wide every month....also did last year. Get your facts straight.

I have nothing against the 360 but I hate it when people just being fanboys.

1. Sony does not make costumes, so I doubt they have a costume-r service

2. You sent the controllers to someone on eBay, when you shipped them they were in working condition. You should have sent them insured mail, so their claim would be with UPS / Fedex, not with you. That's assuming this person isn't pulling some scam / broke them themselves.

3. No one calls controllers "joysticks" unless they're actually flight / arcade sticks. They're "PS3 controllers".
